You're being tested by the CAS. If fitted this or another cat is going to move with you in the coming weeks

You're being auditioned. Be on your best behavior. Bring treats.

That's how it starts, happened to me. Then you end up with unsolicited pest control service...

And I, for one, welcome your new cat overlord.

Glad to see the C.A.T. Distribution Network is still strong and ongoing😼

Careful: Random cats make love when they find cozy, secret places. This could be an ominous sign of things to come.

Do you happen to know what the green leaves with the scalloped edges are? Because it looks similar to my catnip plant.

If she's friendly she might have an owner. If you want to find out, tie on a note with your cell number using a thread that can break if it gets caught as she leaps. If so, you can just give her some pets and not worry about her.

If you don't hear from anyone, don't just assume you can take her home and make her yours. Get her checked for a chip and put out Found Cat signs/notices. Some little kid could be crying.

If she's feral you might look into a local group that does TNR. They could provide a cage and free or low-cost spay/neuter vet.

Not you, your newly turned garden soil.

Despite what you heard from Ash, they actually choose you.
