These answers are wild, didn't know lemmings were such dirty dogs (in a good way <3)

Being the awkward socially disabled neuromasala dude that I am, I count myself lucky to have even met my wife and had the guts to say "hello" when we finally met face to face after 5 months of texting. I absolutely can't fathom hooking up with someone I barely know, and here y'all are going "oh I lost count", "low 3 digits", "are we counting orgies..?"

[–] Pyr_Pressure@lemmy.ca 2 points 38 minutes ago

Zero

Just don't have the drive. Perfectly happy with not bothering with the social dynamics required to flirt / commit etc. I don't have much need to have a partner either short term or long term.

No idea if I'm just weird or if it's a somewhat common thing for some people.

[–] Ryanmiller70@lemmy.zip 4 points 2 hours ago

Trick question. Everyone on the Internet is a nerdy virgin waiting for Mom to bring us pizza rolls.

[–] underThunder@thelemmy.club 3 points 3 hours ago

Probably about 30.

[–] bhamlin@lemmy.world 7 points 6 hours ago

I'm pretty sure all of them were sexual. I however, am not.

[–] sukhmel@programming.dev 3 points 9 hours ago

I think 9, of them one was a one-night stand and the rest I dated for a while

Maybe a hundred by now, lost count. My wife has hundreds more than me, and we keep increasing our numbers together, so to speak. God I love my wife and I love my life.

Wife an I love to regularly go to sex clubs, we have regular partners we play with a lot, and we both give eachother the freedom that if we have an opportunity to have sex while the other isn't there, take it. We both simply love sex and we're super open and honest and respectful about our wants, needs, and desires

[–] beegnyoshi@lemmy.zip 6 points 9 hours ago

With this many partners don't you get afraid of catching STDs? How do you manage that?

[–] BladeFederation@piefed.social 7 points 12 hours ago

Is it bad if I say I don't remember?

[–] TheHotze@lemmy.world 9 points 13 hours ago

Zero. One of the easy ways to get wizard powers without being a racist.

[–] laughingm0n@piefed.world 10 points 14 hours ago

26 if I include your mom

[–] ChexMax@lemmy.world 7 points 13 hours ago
  1. But it feels really weird that someone I slept with hundreds of times, often in sessions of 40 minutes to two hours would count the same towards that number as someone who I slept with once for 15 minutes.

Of the 12, 4 were a single time, 1 was a few times and the rest were over a year of sleeping together, usually 2 or 3.

For what it's worth the sex was only physically pleasurable in the long term deals for me.

[–] Siegfried@lemmy.world 3 points 12 hours ago

2 .. unless you let me count my hands

[–] plutopos@lemmy.zip 9 points 15 hours ago

So far, I have only had one sexual partner. Thank you for asking, SatansMaggotyCumFart.

[–] jtrek@startrek.website 4 points 12 hours ago (1 children)

I realized the other day that I don't have a solid count. A friend of mine revealed they have a document with a line item for everyone they've slept with and a brief summary.

I'd guess it could reasonably round to 100, though.

[–] phoenixz@lemmy.ca 3 points 12 hours ago

I don't mind anyone sleeping with a hundred people, or more even. Don't mind the diary either, just that to me that sounds like too much work that nobody would ever read, but to each their own

[–] netvor@lemmy.world 9 points 16 hours ago

Lost count but I'm confident it's somewhere between zero and 23423431.

[–] itkovian@lemmy.world 6 points 15 hours ago

Somewhere between 0 and 0

More than 20. I disagree that it makes it less meaningful. But I have learned that there are many women who are bad at sex. It’s not just men.

[–] Hadriscus@jlai.lu 3 points 1 hour ago

Tell us about the bad ones

[–] unknown@piefed.social 14 points 20 hours ago* (last edited 20 hours ago) (1 children)

Nearing a thousand probably, I spent a few years as a sex worker at a busy brothel.

Disregarding sex work, idk like 60 or so, maybe more. Casual sex with friends was pretty normal with the various groups of people I used to hangout with.

[–] SharkWeek@lemmy.blahaj.zone 3 points 5 hours ago

Did you get a lot of regulars?

I did phone booth cards (yes, I'm old), personals, and parties at various points but most was repeat customers ... I had friends who worked at a massage parlour, and it sounded like a completely different world

[–] OhStopYellingAtMe@lemmy.world 6 points 17 hours ago (2 children)

Between 20 & 30. I think around 25. Definitely not more than 30.
I’m ugly so I can’t complain.

[–] aGenitalBreeze@lemmy.world 4 points 14 hours ago

Pretty much same. I wouldn't call myself ugly though I consider myself aggressively average

And most of em were because I used to do so many drugs. I've died multiple times.

[–] sexual_tomato@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 14 hours ago

More than zero means you're not ugly

[–] rustyfish@piefed.world 33 points 23 hours ago (2 children)

Also I am one of the few who didn’t fuck OPs mom.

[–] Hadriscus@jlai.lu 2 points 1 hour ago
[–] Waraugh@lemmy.dbzer0.com 7 points 15 hours ago
