Imo, paying for reconstruction is the moral thing to do when there is no rational basis for a war. I have no idea whether $300b is the right amount.
Estimates have the total destruction of Iranian infrastructure at closer to $1T.
The highest estimated cost by the OBM for universal healthcare in the US is $290B.
Just gonna leave that here.

So the agreement could be simpler.... It basically says the US (and allies) stop breaking internationallaw, and pay Iran a fuckload of money to rebuild all the stuff they blew up while breaking international law. Iran must agree to continue to abide by the lawful agreements that were in place before the pointless and illegal US military assault.

We should call this what it is: the terms of America's surrender.
Full throated US capitulation, abject contrition, and a stack of blood money from here to the money is the least we could do after we massacred Iranians for months in a fully improving conflict.
