Normal people assume that any given event is related to the events leading up to it. E.g., the Nordstream pipeline blowing up is probably related to the president president of the US implying that he would blow it up, Russian troops intervening in an ethnic cleansing in eastern Ukraine is probably related to the years long ethnic cleansing being committed in eastern Ukraine, etc. In the US, where we live as the most propogandized population in the world, we've been told that there is no order or reason for world events except for bad people randomly lashing out. There's no logic of private capital explaining everything around you, and there's nothing you can do about the bad stuff except voting.
