Depends how good the blender is, if a lot of solids remain it's more of a stew

[–] wonderingwanderer@sopuli.xyz 21 points 6 days ago (2 children)

It's a bug smoothie. It would be juice if they separated the pulp and squeezed it to remove all the liquid

What do you think are the chance that they cooked these insects first?

[–] prettybunnys@piefed.social 52 points 6 days ago (1 children)

Exactly, they’re just asking for problems if they haven’t pasteurized their bug milk.

Can we just turn the internet off now?

[–] FreddiesLantern@leminal.space 7 points 5 days ago (1 children)

So you know the thing where people type "lol" but they don't give a mild chuckle let alone actually laugh?

Your comment did it, I genuinely started laughing at my phone. Thx.

who knows, mabye they're too busy with having diarrhea.

[–] iocase@lemmy.zip 29 points 6 days ago* (last edited 6 days ago) (7 children)

Have you tried blending them with fermented piss instead of water? It might also help to drip aged urine in your eyes to detoxify your body.

/s if it wasn't blatantly obvious

WT...and I cannot emphasise this enough...F??

There were no other reported cases of intravenous semen injection found across the medical literature. A broader search of internet sites and forums found no documentation of semen injection for back pain treatment or otherwise.

That, at least, is something of a relief.

What the....how does one even come to such an idea? And after that hurdle he still did it, thinking it might work? People....

Some people are mentally ill in a way people can at least vaguely grasp

Some people are mentally ill in a way where they inject their own cum into their spines. I'm feeling grateful for which mental illness I was given right now 😅

Feels like an extension of the testosterone worshipping semen retaining nofap types. To quote Dr Strangelove: “Women sense my power and they seek the life essence. I do not avoid women,… but I do deny them my essence.”

If it's good for a carnivorous lion to grow up strong enough to beat his evil uncle, why not me?

A horrible day to have eyes

[–] YiddishMcSquidish@lemmy.today 14 points 6 days ago (1 children)

Wouldn't have been so bad if we were illiterate.

[–] Beehaw_Girl@beehaw.org 2 points 4 days ago (1 children)

So this would have no effect on Donald Trump 😄

[–] YiddishMcSquidish@lemmy.today 2 points 4 days ago

Never does unfortunately.

[–] Olgratin_Magmatoe@slrpnk.net 15 points 6 days ago (1 children)

What a horrible day to be able to read.

Bug milk has all the essential nutrients you need to grow a strong carapace

the sound of oatmeal being pushed through a leafblower-RFK jr voice

I will say I'm intrigued by this dietary idea but I'll add my own spin on this. The bacteria that live within us are alive and well, so much so that they are us. We are just an avatar to these marvellous creatures.

Wouldn't it then logically follow that it's more beneficiary for us to ingest these bugs in a live state?

Now I can already hear the sceptics "but RFK, what about the roadkill you eat? Aren't those dead?".

Fair point, let's ask the larvae.

Sceptics, ...heh makes me wonder,...septic tics? Anyone?

[–] scytale@piefed.zip 8 points 6 days ago

Healthy eating? More like health yeating.

[–] BeMoreCareful@lemmy.world 4 points 5 days ago (2 children)

This is sound medical advice if your colera is high, but too little colera and you'll end up melancholic.

Everything in proportion and moderation in all things.

While i'm technically not vegan, I don't eat meat. How do y'all vegans feel about this?

[–] zarkanian@sh.itjust.works 4 points 5 days ago

Bugs are animals, so vegans are against eating bugs. Also, there's oat milk, soy milk, cashew milk, rice milk, and many, many other plant milks available if you don't want animal milk.
