Are clothes not supposed to touch your body??? How does it work?

[–] Drekaridill@lemmy.wtf 3 points 10 hours ago

So... All the time

Now listen here you...

  • Texture of items I am required to interact with (i.e., the office chair, the steering wheel) are Completely And Totally Wrong.

"Someone capitalized the first letter of every word in a sentence".

[–] ikidd@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 8 hours ago

I just immediately stop reading anything like that (and anyone using "u" and "ur"). It's never going to be worth the time you spend reading it.

[–] strawberry_enjoyer42@lemmy.blahaj.zone 2 points 11 hours ago (1 children)

yay 10/10 (i swapped cold for hot because AGHHHHH)

[–] lightnsfw@reddthat.com 3 points 9 hours ago (2 children)

Hot doesn't really bother me because it means I'm not cold. Maybe it would be different if I wasn't cold 95% of the time.

You definitely don't live anywhere near me. It's hot here. Like, so frickin' hot. Trust me, you wouldn't like it.

[–] Zizzy@lemmy.blahaj.zone 2 points 9 hours ago

Im the exact opposite lol

Bad sounds and people are more than enough....

Another one missing is unexpected change

[–] gigastasio@sh.itjust.works 3 points 14 hours ago

I had to put a sweaty shirt back on today.

Add another one:

I skipped an apparently irrelevant (but not irrelevant at all) step of my morning routine. I'll need to arrive to the following checkpoint of the day to get back to myself.

[–] SharkWeek@lemmy.blahaj.zone 11 points 21 hours ago (1 children)

Oh gosh ... this morning I went for a number 2 before hopping in the shower (which is good), but it meant everything in my routine was then 10 minutes late (which is bad).

I was still early for work (which is good), but in a bad mood because of the change (which is bad).

I'm alright now though, because I just had lunch and that resets the routine :-)

[–] AbsolutelyNotAVelociraptor@piefed.social 7 points 21 hours ago (1 children)

This is why I wake up with a radio program that follows the same schedule from monday to friday. I wake up always with the same part of the program and my routine follows the structure of the program. E.g: When the weather news come (always at the same time) I know where I should be.

[–] SharkWeek@lemmy.blahaj.zone 5 points 21 hours ago (1 children)

Yes. But my pooping doesn't follow a set schedule, and that's what threw me out today.

[–] AbsolutelyNotAVelociraptor@piefed.social 2 points 21 hours ago (1 children)

I am so grateful mine does (unless I ate something that upset my stomach)...

[–] SharkWeek@lemmy.blahaj.zone 5 points 20 hours ago (1 children)

Don't take it for granted!

... I was once like you *sigh*

[–] AbsolutelyNotAVelociraptor@piefed.social 2 points 20 hours ago (1 children)

Mine works like a clock thanks to my breakfast. Olive oil is a natural gut stimulant, then, about one hour later (when I get to my work) a good espresso (non sweetened) does the rest. This combo makes my body work like a swiss clock.

[–] SharkWeek@lemmy.blahaj.zone 1 points 18 hours ago (1 children)

Yeah ... it would be nice if my body behaved like that.

When I hit 35 I went through early menopause, and also suddenly had a load of food allergies ... since then there's been no discernable pattern, lol

[–] epicshepich@programming.dev 3 points 18 hours ago (1 children)

After getting my non-alcoholic fatty liver disease under control, I got into a routine of going once in the morning. These days, there's about a 50/50 chance my 2-year-old wakes me up in the morning which throws everything off because it's really uncomfortable to try to go while he watches me with his hands behind his back and hugs me multiple times.

[–] SharkWeek@lemmy.blahaj.zone 3 points 17 hours ago

lol, I'm glad I never had to be a full time parent, not sure I could survive trying to poop while being hugged

[–] eksb@programming.dev 6 points 17 hours ago

Also

  • ate too much
  • clothes are not tight enough
  • hot
[–] applebusch@lemmy.blahaj.zone 7 points 20 hours ago

one extra for me, horny and need to be touched but not getting touched

[–] bremen15@piefed.social 2 points 15 hours ago (1 children)
[–] Blackfeathr@lemmy.world 1 points 13 hours ago

Pretty much.

[–] Zacryon@feddit.org 3 points 18 hours ago (1 children)

Okay and how do you cope with that?

[–] Strider@lemmy.world 1 points 13 hours ago

That's the neat part....

But sarcasm aside. Spoons. Manage your energy and act accordingly.

And yes, this does not solve it and sometimes still lead to overload but it's the best shot we have.

[–] dotslashme@infosec.pub 4 points 21 hours ago

Clothes are touching my body, that one can fuck up my whole day.
