I remember the first time I walked into Trump Tower.
I thought it looked like a giant, golden toilet.
Ian Hislop once described Trump’s taste in interiors as being somewhere between early Saddam Hussein and late Colonel Gaddafi. I can see that.
There used to be jokes about the 'Edifice Complex' that drove otherwise sane people to build bigger and bigger and ever more elaborate structures to show they world that they'd arrived.
I suspect it would be very impressive if it were actually gold and not rattle-can spray-paint "gold" from Big Lots.

Can we talk about the real reason they did this? They need to label every room in the place so Trump can pretend he's not lost. He's completely deranged and clearly sunsetting. This is also why he stays at Mar a Lago instead so often: the familiarity. He's easier to calm down when he can figure out where he is.
