Depends. Americans are not taught what actual socialism is, by design.
Socialism is when a group of hypocrites at the top pretend they're bound by the same rules as everyone else, hide behind the bureaucracy they created, squeeze as much as possible out of the working class, and horde the wealth while everyone else struggles to get by, right?

No kidding. That is wild. It’s all scary, but one really stood out to me: there is a question on whether respondents thought that healthcare provided by the government and paid for by the government is (a) socialist, (b)not socialist, or (c) I don’t know. The percentage of respondents that said “not socialist” and “I don’t know” is baffling. Although, I guess I can take some solace in a large number of people being self aware enough to pick “I don’t know.”
Yeah. If you actually know the definition of socialism, most of the questions don’t make sense.
