Completely agree. I think it's based on provability though. You can't prove that a psychic is lying unless you have an admission of guilt from them. Same with people who cast 'spells' or who go up on stage preaching this incredibly dangerous "law of attraction" garbage. They're all utter bullshit but none of them are provably bullshit.
I used to work with a guy who sold "haunted jewellery". He made decent money occasionally. Not job money, but decent hobby money.

Have the courage to own your shit if you insist on trying to do that to someone. Take an ounce of accountability and maybe rethink some of your life decisions. (Probably for about 98% of these situations.)
Yes, we all get mad. That being said, most of us don't try to literally curse someone over it. Reasonable people usually talk it out and problem solve, not try to play god using the abilities that they believe someone else has.

I've been seriously considering a dark hustle. Something aimed at evil assholes (I was going to make a list of examples but then I realized everything I thought of was just a subset right-winger). e.g. A beer so offensive the fuck faces will flock to it but it'll have a bunch of "technically legal, but probably really bad in excess, or mixed with coke" ingredients. Find some toxic shitbag to be the face of it, fuck him over with every dirty capitalist trick in the book, and make sure he takes the fall when the bad press and lawsuits start rolling in...
