how will the US support it's many many gun factories and research if there is no war? Don't forget a large part of american economy revolve around the war machine.

I don't want to die right now lol But I think I should if wanted to!

I think those programs are a great step forward and it should be regulated indeed, but we still have a long road to go until full body autonomy.

"You have to prove unrecoverable decline" for me that's the issue. After a mandatory tryout period with a psychiatric, if the person still wants to die that should be up to them, not other people.

You want co controversial?! Ok
I think we should be able to decide our own deaths if we want too, and that should be law. Depresion is real, yes, but a lot of people want to LITERALLY impose life into others. Not only talking about end stage or crippling disease but also psychological issues so bad living with it is torture. You reading this and disagreeing are doing it becuse you afe either religious, and you are imposing your religion into others, or someone else would feel bad, regardless if the person lives in agony, they have to live to not make someone else sad. "I don't want my son to take his life" YOU YOU YOU.

Of course I think there should be procedures and controls in place, like +21, 1 or 2 years mandatory psychiatric follow up, if you have youngs kid you also can't. But if you are an adult, no kids, fuck your opinion dude, it's their life their choice.

i mean sometimes we see people doing stuff and we know they have issues and for sure need some help, BUT, they could be dealing with it in a way worst way, so I don't mind. You go imaginary dog people.

I understand having a limit for small crimes but for huge ones, like murder, why would the crime prescribe? Is there a reason for that?!

I joined lemmy a couple of years ago and added a lot of lemmy.ml communities but the politics there is unhinged and I don't even care about politics! What are some fun/funny communities with less unhinged people?! (no .ml please)

Edit: You guys are awesome! thank you for making my days more fun and cute

Why do I have to use all possible different protection equipment (gloves, masks, ventilation and glasses) when printing in resin, but then people put uv resin directly in their fingers? And what about the ones that go in people's mouths? It has to be different right?!

Also didn't even asked about kids TOYS, it wouldn't be a thing if UV resin was so dangerous, right? RIGHT?

Do the army support the president even if his orders are against your constitution? How is the overll clima and feeling today?

Just asking because I'm curious, I have no horse in this race :)

Edited to Armed forces since thats exactly what I ment

Two cases of rabies have been attributed to probable aerosol exposures in laboratories, and two cases of rabies have been attributed to possible airborne exposures in caves containing millions of free-tailed bats (Tadarida brasiliensis) in the Southwest. However, alternative infection routes cannot be discounted.

So since I started taking my meds many years ago my dreams became more vivid and I can remember them better and in more detail. Usually this is great but I watched Terrifier 3 last night and had one the most messed up scenes of a dream stuck in my head. Wtf brain?! Seriously, it involved a child and now I'm messed up because of my own fucking brain, not even a real thing.

Any of you had a similar experience?

Edit: Thanks to everyone for the help! Just an update.

Thanks to @nate3d and @IMALlama comments below I calibrated the e-steps that were very under and it improved a lot.

I left the filament on the dryer for 8 hours and tested again with a 20mm /s speed and 220 C print temp and it was better (picture below)

Just to answer you all saying it's a clog or a hot end problem, it's not, the whole hot end, includong nozzle, heat block and everything else, even the PTFE tube are all brand new and I checked before.

This is still the best I could achieve and It took 3 hours to print this benchy lol

‐-------- Hi everyone, I'm once again asking for your help lol Since I’ve tried to print with wood I totally wrecked my printer so I changed the hot end and am trying to set it all up again. Since my printer already came built and working I don’t have much experience with things like this so if you could help me I would be very thankful

What do I need to twerk to make it print better again?

I’m using Cura slicer and trying to print a benchy with the settings below:

Nozzle: 0.4

Layer: 0.2

Printing temp: 220 (it wont print with lower temp)

Speed: 60

Retraction distance: 7

Retraction speed: 70

Edit: PLA

Wood Temp Tower (lemmy.world)
submitted 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago) by MissJinx@lemmy.world to c/3dprinting@lemmy.world

This is the temp tower of my wood print experiment Cand even se much difference. It goes from 260 to 190. Below 225 gets really flimsy and above 240 melts. But even 230, the "best" one is really bad, and I'm not talking about retraction. Even the layers that melt are inconsistent.

Also it's not humidity since the filament was in a filament dryer for.16hours.

edit: The nozzle is 0.8

can someone think of anything else?
