Sea of Thieves really is something. It's gorgeous, it's fun, it has a relatively simple game loop that's very satisfying to do but can get up there in complexity, and can be super chill with the fishing and cooking stuff.

Edit: when I played, I was a solo slooper, so I mainly stuck to the volcano area and just took on all the Captain's Voyages I could get at a time. Those things just dump money on you.

Mods, I feel like this post should be removed for the incredibly biased and sensationalized body text.

I highly doubt anyone in a position of power is saying publically that victims of CSAM should be reclassified as "minor sex workers" or whatever the fuck you're talking about. You really do a good job of making yourself sound dumb and crazy, just like the MAGAts in the rest of the US.

Are you telling on yourself, OP?

Those PS2 underwear ones are fucking wild

Nice.

People are such fucking chodes, they feel the need to steal little pieces of paper with value placed on them by children.

Obviously, I know the wider issue is capitalism and governments being shitty to their citizens, but I still can't help but cringe at stories like these.

There's a reason why Bricks & Minifigs is getting more and more popular. There are only so many official Lego stores around the country, they're only really found in major cities like LA or Las Vegas, so it's nice to have something for the rest of the country where you can go and find hard-to-find sets and PAB stuff.

Yeah, there's still the fact they didn't even let him celebrate a birthday until he started going to that school, because they were scared of him.

Remember the times Harry pulls out his wand at home? Remember how freaked out they were when he does? Or even the fact that he (unwittingly) blew up his step-aunt and refused to change her back (even if he knew how, I doubt he would). They only start giving him leniency when they realize that he could literally change their entire reality with a thought.

I'm in Corpus Christi right now for work (God I fucking hate Texas), and there's miles of these things right on the edge of town.

I've seen some straight GILFs at my job, and they dress "young" for their age.

I've been to Arkansas many times as I live just across the state line.

There's fucking nothing in the entire goddamn state, even in the state capital Little Rock. It's gorgeous land, they don't call it "The Natural State" for nothing, and I've found some cool shops when I've gone looking; but there's just no infrastructure of any kind aside from decent roads.

Now I understand why everyone keeps making the distinction.

Fuck these bastards.

Damn, the rich assholes are getting bold, putting themselves on tv and putting a target on their backs like that.

Good.

Saw this guy just chilling by my hotel when I went out for a smoke.

I was just wondering everyone's favorite level(s) were/are. You can explain why you like it, or you can just name drop the level you like most.

Mine are probably:

  1. Assault on The Control Room, I love the big epic set pieces of the level, and it has probably the best/most "examples" of what Halo is as a game than any other in CE. You have big weapons, vehicles, large open battles, and awesome music.

  2. Delta Halo from Halo 2. I love the lush jungle setting and going through the underwater elevator is always fun. Plus I love just beating the hell out of Truth.

  3. Halo, from Halo 3. Like Assault on The Control Room, this level has it all

So I've been playing through all the Arkham games lately, and I had an interesting thought about the whole Arkhamverse as a storyline.

I think the entire game series is based (loosely) on The Killing Joke story, with other major events, references, and storylines lifted from other Batman comics. I just think TKJ was used as a basis for the games' world.

We see Joker's beginning with his flashback at the end of Arkham Origins, which is almost identical to his TKJ origin, as well as him crippling Barbara in that flashback during Arkham Knight (right down to the clothes he's wearing). The overall dark tone of the games lend to this theory, as well as Joker being shown just how sadistic he can be.

What do you think?

If it's at all possible. I just find it kind of annoying to have to scroll through super long posts just to get to the comments. Review threads for newly released games in some of the gaming communities are what prompted this idea lol.

Edit: what the hell is going on with that account that keeps spamming nonsense?

So I like to use Xbox controllers (doesn't matter if it's first- or third-party) because I like the layout, it's just comfortable to me. However I've noticed that on all my controllers in the past few years, the left thumb stick will start to "give out" over the course of a couple months. For instance I'll be pushing it forward all the way, but it won't register for some reason and my character will only move a little bit. Sometimes wiggling it a bit will fix it, sometimes it doesn't. And it's not like I'm squeezing the hell out of the controller or mashing the stick constantly; in fact it's made me try to be more delicate with my controllers, even though I'm just playing the games normally.

Is it just how controllers are, or am I just getting the shit end of the stick?

Like, I travel around for work and I've met plenty of people from all backgrounds.

Why is there a demographic of people who don't seemingly bathe regularly, or at the very least wear something to cover up their BO? I could understand if it's an allergy, or even religious reasons (though the people I've met that smell bad are usually you're average American young adult man) but recently (like in the past week, recently) I've met a concerning number of people who don't seem to wear any kind of deodorant or possibly don't even bathe regularly; it's starting to become an issue for me, as I don't even want to interact with them when I can smell them walking up from 3+ feet away yet I need to for work.

Does anyone have any possible insight?
