Does anyone have a source that goes more in depth about what actually happened? Like the article mentions he had a heart attack but presumably a surgeon wouldn’t have their licence suspended just because a patient happened to have a heart attack. Was the patient at risk for heart attacks and the surgeon ignored just it? Did they fuck up the response to the heart attack?

nextdns has an app on the ios app store that works

Edit: apple is actually pretty decent on system level addblockers since they hurt google’s business not theirs

Google and apple? Absolutely zero chance of him doing that on his own. They each have a market capitalization of almost $4 trillion, and even though he’d only have to buy 51% of them that’s still way more than his net worth. And that’s not getting into how most of his wealth is in the form of tesla stock, which he can’t sell to much of without tanking the stock price. Plus corporations have ways to stop people who are trying to buy them out if they don’t want to be sold, like even though twitter was a publicly traded company musk still had to negotiate a deal with twitter’s management

He might be able to buy a significant portion of one or both companies stocks and then be able to vote for board members and stuff and try to gain influence that way, but that’s not the same as owning a controlling stake in the company, and frankly I don’t see him politically out manoeuvring alphabet or apple’s existing boards of directors

Even assuming they give him a real trial, I don’t think this is going to change anything. All this means is that if they’ve interrogated before now him they can’t admit anything he said as evidence

Porkbun seems to be popular and I haven’t heard anything bad about them yet

I think congress already preemptively authorized military action against venezuela (with the democrats’ support of course) Edit: looking it up technically it was a resolution to tell trump not to use military force in venezuela without prior authorization and they couldn’t be bothered to move it out of committee

True, but having the subtitles be what the character is saying but untranslated is different from just saying “[speaking norwegian]”

Oman too. Like I know they’re not as much of an oil producer as the other gulf states but they do still have a lot of oil and yet you never hear about them trying to exert influence

American president does something american in america

Americans: “what are we, a bunch of homosexuals?”

I kind of want to set up my own domain for personal stuff and learning purposes. I was thinking of using it for a vpn for ssh-ing into my local devices and for hosting git repos and stuff. Maybe a phorge instance or something. It wouldn’t really be for public use so I don’t think I need to worry about high traffic.

I know when hexbear switched domain name services during the recent debacle that people seemed to really like the new one but I forget what it was called. As for server hosting, I guess aws is the obvious choice, but that and azure are the only choices I’m even aware of, so I don’t know if there’s something else out there that’d be better suited to my needs. Actually, do I even need server hosting at all? My friend mentioned that I could configure my router to forward requests on a certain port to one of my devices, so could I set up my own server that way? Wouldn’t that cause issues if the router restarts and I get a new ip address?

I’ve been on an unintentional break from hexbear over the past 10 months since the redesign broke it on my phone and school started. But I have a new phone now, so what’s been happening? Are we finally blocked by everyone except lemmygrad? Any new struggle sessions? Fill me in!

spoiler(Maybe. This is really confusing ohnoes )
