Clouds = water on mars?

Is this one worth it? I’ve always come to the conclusion it’s actually slow, and not as eventful as one would like.

You are forgetting:

  • you have the moral obligation to pirate all creative works.

If you think this meme is a depiction of something worth blocking all Linux communities over, then we are not on the same page. I was just poking fun.

This is what using Lemmy feels like sometimes.

Lighter more comfortable heads are coming.

Check out the Bigscreen Beyond for an example of the current lightest headset.

It has taken way longer than expected for headsets to get and stay light and comfortable. Including the Vision Pro. But the micro displays that just arrived on the scene a few years ago will help lead to the lighter headsets we need.

But now we have another problem. Those micro displays are super expensive. They are the single most expensive part of the Beyond and the Vision Pro.

VR hardware didn't advance fast enough. But it’s starting to round an important corner.

This sure riled people up.

People really have become a bit paranoid about bots. It’s sad what AI has done to assumptions.

I’m not sure how to articulate it, really.

He’s back!

Mind boggling.

Increasingly, the best parties are those where phones are absent.

The cameras 99% of adults carry in their pockets every day, and the powerful surveillance software those cameras connect to, make it easy for anyone to rip any moment -- even our most intimate, silly, goofy, terrible, embarrassing, or happy moments -- and put it online for all to see, stripped of its original context.

It was easy. I finally got some vinegar and filled it up and let the kettle sit overnight. Rinsed it and gave it a wipe with a wad of paper towel and the scale and residue from the scale is all gone.

Shoulda done it earlier. The wasted psychic energy, every time I peered in and saw the scale…

I’ve been at my place for 3 years now, drapeless.

The color is burlywood.

I’m always impressed with how Frontline integrates super recent events and footage in their episodes.

Everything is going to be all right.

Good! Keep those patients safe!

A nerdy deep dive on the recent release.

The fact the AI upscale removed diegetic dust and artistic faux grain surprised me. That’s an undeniable mistake/error, IMO.

He also demos audio pitch issues.
