I've got a few. And they are all comments on 5 year old posts (That I thought were deleted). A few of them are asking why I chose X product over Y so I assumed it was some kind of bot.

Yeah, he's doing really well. I'd say he's got 80+% of his Mobility back. Gets along in forward gears just fine but reverse is a little tricky. Can climb to the top of the floor to ceiling cat tree with ease. Still out on workers's comp, he comes in once a week just to check things out and look for mice.

He refused, which did violate his parole.

At this juncture, CHP officers would have been justified under Payne’s special search condition in either “confiscati[ng] . . . [the] device” or “arrest[ing] Payne pending further investigation.

Instead, Officer Coddington forcibly grabbed Payne’s thumb and used it to unlock the phone via a built-in biometric unlocking feature.

It's the last bit that is the important part. That is not part of the conditions of the parole. And that is what the court found was not a rights violation.

Police can legally force you to unlock your phone via biometrics.

You think it was targeted? This 18 year old was working his way through her security detail and just happened to get so unlucky as to get shot in the face by the first one?

While I absolutely agree with you on opposing lifetime appointments; I can not fathom what this incident has to do with that.

With an auto security system, you are shopping around for a local shop that does good installs more than what brand the alarm is. If you are buying the alarm to prevent the vehicle from being stolen rather than just for the convenience features, I highly recommend you do not attempt the install yourself. Even if you are pretty handy, an amateur installed alarm can make the vehicle easier to steal than one without anything. This is something worth paying someone who knows their stuff.

Once you find a reputable shop, it doesn't matter that much what brand they sell. If they do actual good work, they are most likely not selling junk. But you can't really go wrong with Viper.

Wyze sells cheap but decent quality security cameras with good alerts. Probably not the best privacy tho, so I wouldn't point them anywhere too private.

I'm dumbfounded there are that many people backing into parking spots. It was drilled into my head at an old job for safety reasons but I almost never see anyone else doing it.
