In Mexico, a 19yo student in a top university was recently sentenced to 5 years of prison for altering photos with AI, mixing pornography with his female classmates. Apparently, he created thousands of AI altered images, including underage students of his school.

Well, I went through a recruitment process for a Ponzi scheme company. It was wild, but the first filter was an interview by some "hot" woman (sorry, I was like 21) so, I guess I was nervous and passed to the next part of the recruitment process. This third part (the first was only a couple of documents) was frankly nauseous for my kind of education, in this phase, a proper brainwash about how unions, worker rights and health insurance are just obstacles between us and real success in life and some other nonsense, happened to a group of applicants clearly infiltrated. At that exact moment I wanted to go home, but somehow I was feeling unsafe surrounded by the staff (people, I guess, already in the Ponzi scheme). They wanted us to come back the next day to sell perfumes for free or to buy them perfumes to sell by ourselves or something. Of course, I didn't come back, but it was traumatizing.
Oh, actually, /u/bobbyfiend, already mentioned the same kind of "business", except this is Mexico. It's not rare to find these "ideas" being deployed in several countries, like Scientology.
A degoogled Android is still the only acceptable path, whether it is Grapheme OS or other projects like Lineage OS or /e/OS; of course, some people will harshly dismiss some of these. I don't know if Sailfish OS is still around, postmarketOS and the different GUIs of Linux phones (Gnome/Plasma Mobile, Phosh, etc.) are great projects, but not quite stable or user-ready, in my opinion.

Firsr of all, you're right. But the study was done in 2017, it's been almost ten years, particularly for China this is a leap in manufacturing quality. Also, the list is for Top countries, so I understand this is not the whole range from greatest prestige to lowest prestige.

Well, the POTUS was found guilty in 34 criminal counts. This is not on Trump, the American State allowed him to go on and become president. American presidents are virtually untouchable now, it's been more than 60 years since JFK. If they have the Legislative majority and the SCOTUS favor, they are basically kings. They just need to declare an emergency and almost anything goes.
The only good thing out of this situation is derived from Trump's unskillfulness. There is no way that the outcome of his government will not lead to a multipolar world and the end of the American hegemony.
In the vet's waiting room there's a warning that roughly says "Don't touch Cristobal, he can be bad sometimes". . . . Cristobal is a common name for guys in Spanish, and the warning doesn't state Cristobal is a cat. It doesn't say "don't pet" either, it just states you shouldn't touch him. My favorite part was that Cristobal can be bad only sometimes.
