Hey Everyone,

I wanted to start a space on Lemmy for people who are into Razer gear, PC gaming, setups, RGB, esports, and just gaming culture in general.

Most communities for this stuff are scattered across different platforms, so I figured it’d be cool to have a dedicated place here where people can post their battlestations, talk peripherals, share opinions on products, get help with issues, or just hang out and talk gaming.

Whether you’ve been using Razer gear for years or you’re just getting into the ecosystem, feel free to join in.

Some things you can post: 1.) Setup photos 2.) Keyboard/mouse/headset discussions 3.) RGB customization 4.) Gaming clips & screenshots** 5.)** Product questions or troubleshooting 6.) Esports & gaming discussions 7.) Recommendations and opinions

The main goal is just to build a chill, active community with good discussion and cool setups.

This is an unofficial fan community and isn’t affiliated with Razer.

Hope to see some of your setups and discussions soon 🟢

Given lemmy.sdf.org's unreliability as of late, I figured I'd just create new communities for both 80s and 90s TV. I've had several things I've wanted to post to both recently but the sdf.org had been down since early April. It came back up briefly, but when I started to post something earlier, saw it was down yet again.

So, here's alternatives if you want them.

@wesker@lemmy.sdf.org if you're out there with a working alt and want to mod these, just give me a shout.

Since there isn't really a good alternative to the now defunct Random Acts of Gaming, I created a new community for giving away free stuff: !giveaways@piefed.ca

While I expect the community to mostly be game keys, I intentionally left it open for other stuff. I've also already posted three game giveaways.

@otter@lemmy.ca proposed I repost the stickied post I put here onto this community. I did post this about 6 weeks ago, but I have finally isolated the problem.

This is a sort of follow-up from this post and this post. I decided to check the data of all subscribers to television@piefed.social and discovered that about a month ago, probably more like six-weeks - pretty much all lemmy based subscribers were purged from this community. Literally no-one except old subscribers from lemm.ee and beehaw.org (for some reason?) were listed as subscribers as viewed from piefed.social.

According to the count from piefed.social, television@piefed.social has 125 lemmy.world based subscribers.

If you look at it from lemmy.world though, it says 802 local subscribers. That's a massive drop. lemmy.zip I record 95 subscribers. Looking at it from lemmy.zip: 561 local subscribers.

So anyone who is an old subscriber, who may even be receiving updates still - please hit unsubscribe and resubscribe if you have not already.

And additionally the bug completely cut the community off from midwest.social and feddit.nu. If anyone there sees this, and you were subscribed - it's been tethered and your instances are no longer receiving updates. Midwest.social had 10 local followers at the time.

Are you a fan of the Crossed Comic series? Me too! So I created a community to discuss my favorite comic series of all time, just make sure you read the rules before posting! Could contain NSFW but you can just turn NSFW off so don't worry!

Adding to the other daily comic communities, is Foxtrot. The first strip will be posted this Friday, the 10th of April, on the 38th anniversary of the strip's syndication debut.

!foxtrot@slrpnk.net

For anyone unfamiliar with the strip:

FoxTrot is an American comic strip written and illustrated by Bill Amend. The strip launched on April 10, 1988, and it originally ran seven days a week. From December 31, 2006 onwards, FoxTrot has only appeared on Sundays.

The strip revolves around the daily lives of the Fox family, composed of parents Andrea (Andy) and Roger and their children, Peter, Paige, and Jason. It covers a wide range of subject matter, including spoofs of pop culture fads, nerd culture, complex math, and popular consumer products.

!australia@quokk.au
http://quokk.au/c/australia

This community was created because the administration at aussie.zone continues to let itself be a Nazi bar, arguing for keeping literal Nazi rhetoric and never removing racist users. If you would like a place to discuss Australia that's a bit more palatable, stop on by.

I recently said that I wished there was a community like this on Lemmy, so I decided to start one. This community reposts Norm Macdonald SNL Jokes from the Twitter account of the same name. These feature jokes from Norm's time as anchor of Weekend Update on Saturday Night Live. I go "there" to bring these jokes back so you don't have to!

I just recently am taking a dive into bandcamp and building up a collection of music for myself for the first time and I don't think I saw a bandcamp community on lemmy yet or I failed to search for it properly or something lol

Anyone wan to start one or link it?

!videos@quokk.au

Yes, this is another community for videos. So far it's just me posting there with a lot of educational/science/history content.

The main difference from other video comms? It's hosted on PieFed and can utilize any PieFed specific features going forward.

I just created the Lemmy community for experimental film. Feel free to post anything, including links to experimental films, chatting, and asking questions, as long as the topic is experimental film.

However, please be sure to mark any work that may cause epileptic seizures, such as flashing, as NSFW.

This is my first time moderating a forum, including Lemmy.

As I am not an English speaker, I use translation software to post and view content, so I hope you will be kind enough to understand this.
