Sometimes we have those little epiphanies in the shower.. sometimes they come from other places. This is a home for those epiphanies.

Catalog all these "Pokemon", understand their "types" and how they interact, which "moves" are "super effective" against certain "types". They're just priming kids to develop, and adults to consider fondly, the same kind of competencies central to cataloging molecules and determining which other molecules they interact with, and how strongly.

Even battles are kinda like multi-stage chemical reactions.

When someone says "With all due respect...", they'll inevitably follow it with an insult. In that case, the person is therefore also implying that the recipient is due NO respect since they're insulting them. Boom, double-roast. Maybe obvious, but apparently not to me... with all due respect to me.

It used to be that if we saw an art piece or a cartoon, we would know someone made it for a reason. Even if it was a miscommunication or accident, it had an original intent behind it. It could have even been the deliberate lack of intent. I guess the closest to AI would be drunk/druggy art, but that usually has some kind of learned intent sneaking in.

Every time you look down, your FOV slider just goes from 90 to 50, until you make a 5 second long move trying to move the hair in a way it still looks good while not falling into your face again

It is amazing how little some people think through what the strategy is of doing anything. It isn't a technical skill; it is just knowing what sequence to do things so I can put in the least amount of effort.

I'm not even that great at board games.

!try it. One means something adds up to an amount, the other means to wake up, and the emphasis is different between them!<

Everybody knows what needs to be done. Parenthood needs to be sustainable for the parents. There's just no political will to implement a policy that will only start paying off in 20+ years. Every politician kicks the can down the road, or implements half-hearted policies.

Edit: Just realised I posted this to the wrong instance comm 😅
