How can we be sure they’re not just training their models on when they fail to convince us?
That and giving them a fine tuned read on your personal tolerance for slop so they can drip feed you the exact limit you'll tolerate before leaving.
Just like all social media, linkedin is there to harvest your data so it can sell it. No more, no less. If they can get you to pay for a pro plan at the same time, thats just gravy.
I thought it was there so that I could post "I'm honored to announce..." after every shit I take, and tie some sort of inane life lesson into it.
Regardless of intent, that IS what will happen. Survival of the fittest and whatnot.
