  1. Tesla's free energy for all plan wouldn't work. We get closest to it with single wire; Earth return. Earth can't carry both directions, and the air cannot carry a reasonable amount of power, lightning aside โ€” and you can't run lightning bolts to each customer
  2. Tesla's free energy for all plan would be difficult to metre so it would have to be funded by a flat rate so it would be difficult to encourage people to use less power
