I can't speak for French Canadians, but here's a comic released by the French cartoonists from the Charlie Hebdo offices:
This was published on March 2024 during Ramadan (that's what the speech bubble is about), just six months after October 7, when everyone was still pretending this wasn't genocide; these guys are admitting they know it's a genocide and having a laugh about it. As I always tell people to do, please note the goofy looking starving child; the artist had to draw that in there line by line. Absolute ghouls.
Back when their office got shot up I was a bit mortified. Every year since then I have gained greater understanding of why.
For anyone who wants to bully the artist (which (cyberbullying) is illegal in France and is how Candace Owens is getting sued), this is the guy who literally opened the door for the people who shot Charlie.

I feel like Charlie Hebdo is almost cheating, they figured out the right wing crybully grift years before anyone else figured out how to do it.
