If you're not playing Sinead O'Conner for your Bog Rosemary, you're going to kill it.
And poor drainage, the wrong light, lack of nutrients, and build up of minerals or being pot-bound.
My watering is just fine
It just turns out plants like more than 6" of dirt. Maybe I should've realized this already, but on the other hand, I learned this empirically with no support and second hand advice
I'm able to cook, I don't have a cursed non-green appendage, but gardening indoors is a skill I'm still working out
This is definitely not something specific to women at all. Men also love to neglect plants.
I think it's more of a satire of a news headline starting with Man/Woman than specifically targeting women.
Or they started with the photo and then made the title.
It's probably both.

Terrariums with small grow lights are a cheat code for these plants. If you keep it mega humid in there and let the water drain away from the roots so they don't rot, they go absolutely ham.
