As a US citizen, I was "robbed of the possibility to travel" to the DPRK, and it wasn't the DPRK who did the robbing.
In the US, you're free to travel domestically between your work and your home, and maybe burger King. And if you just happened to have multiple thousands of dollars and the time off from work necessary, you're free to travel internationally!
