I'd say the inability of the justice system to deal with him is causing even more damage.

Checks and balances seem unchecked and hardly balanced.

I didn't expect this tiger to be so toothless.

The unwillingness. They absolutely do have the ability.

I guess you're new here. Let me explain: the rich aren't like you and me.

The 1% refusal to hold Trump accountable is causing the damage

[-] Crampon@lemmy.world 18 points 4 months ago

Because then the other 1%'ers are in danger too.

Protecting each other from the law is essential to their existence.

He's a fantastic tool for deception and distraction. Those in control are literally rewriting our laws and robbing the coffers while the test of the country watches Trump do his monkey dance or ignores all media to avoid the monkey dance which equals to the same results: Your head in the sand.

[-] TokenBoomer@lemmy.world 2 points 4 months ago

I remember that unfortunately, good call ☎️

[-] BruceTwarzen@kbin.social 14 points 4 months ago

You need an expert for that?

[-] MagicShel@programming.dev 4 points 4 months ago

"Person with eyes"

[-] Boddhisatva@lemmy.world 14 points 4 months ago

Working as intended.

[-] Delusional@lemmy.world 8 points 4 months ago

Yet another thing trump has done that shows how obviously broken our system is.

If only anyone in charge would want to fix the clearly broken shit. Nope not even a little.

[-] charonn0@startrek.website 8 points 4 months ago

Destabilizing the system is the point. Trump is just the tool.

[-] Fedizen@lemmy.world 3 points 4 months ago

Captain Obvious holding his badge that says "expert"

[-] MinusPi@pawb.social 3 points 4 months ago
