Wow, the parity with Microsoft office is amazing

[-] possiblylinux127@lemmy.zip 6 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago)

As someone that hates Microsoft office I can safely say it is way better. Ideally I could use Nextcloud office but that still has a ways to go. My preferred system was Google docs but I haven't touched it in years

That's actually the first run welcome notification. You just have to edit the text in that dropdown popup.

You have used more key strokes than supported by the free package...

[-] nichtburningturtle@feddit.org 14 points 3 months ago

You have reached your daily limit of exported pages .

The real meme here

[-] shekau@lemmy.today 20 points 3 months ago

Wdym? whats wrong with GIMP

[-] VaalaVasaVarde@sopuli.xyz 21 points 3 months ago

Memes will be 10% less funny when editing them using GIMP, because of the missing CMYK color modes.

[-] Brahvim@lemmy.kde.social 2 points 2 months ago

CMYK is for paper only, I think?

[-] VaalaVasaVarde@sopuli.xyz 2 points 2 months ago

Yes and artisanal memes are printed using an offset printer, Pepe the Frog especially grows on you when set using CMYK.

They've been trying to get the GTK3 version of it for like a decade, and now that GTK4 is out, they're finally getting close to it (but still not out yet).

taking some inspiration from krita is a good first step

[-] TheBat@lemmy.world 2 points 3 months ago

Pinta is alright too

[-] possiblylinux127@lemmy.zip 2 points 3 months ago
[-] umbrella@lemmy.ml 3 points 3 months ago

inkscape is vector based. krita is focused on painting iirc, but can do light editing really well ime.

[-] SpaceNoodle@lemmy.world 48 points 3 months ago

You need to activate it before I can use it?

[-] DannyBoy@sh.itjust.works 21 points 3 months ago

They are the Activator. They need to complete their duty before any of us can use LibreOffice

[-] subterfuge@lemmy.world 13 points 3 months ago

One activation to rule them all.

[-] cypherpunks@lemmy.ml 5 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago)

yep, since it's under a "copyleft" (communist) software license that's how it has to be.

[-] possiblylinux127@lemmy.zip -2 points 3 months ago

Copy left is very much not communist. Get out of here with that tankie rhetoric

[-] cypherpunks@lemmy.ml 7 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago)

i don't actually think copyleft is communist per se, but i dig that you're somehow mad about my joke - the intended butt of which was people who (typically disparagingly) insist that it is 😂

No. We're all waiting for this guy to activate it so we can get to work.

[-] rtxn@lemmy.world 42 points 3 months ago

It's a doctored screenshot, it's not real.

[-] Tja@programming.dev 24 points 3 months ago

Nonsense. Who would go on the internet and tell lies?

[-] rtxn@lemmy.world 12 points 3 months ago

Me. I lied, it's totally real.

[-] nichtburningturtle@feddit.org 5 points 3 months ago

We're on the internet. I can't trust you. It must be fake!!!

[-] dysprosium@lemmy.dbzer0.com 14 points 3 months ago

Really missed the joke on this one then

[-] the_post_of_tom_joad@sh.itjust.works 2 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago)

[-] possiblylinux127@lemmy.zip 2 points 3 months ago

[-] Mwa@lemm.ee 6 points 2 months ago

Os notice: Linux hasn't been activated. to keep on using linux without interruption, Please give linux torvalds $600(unable to translate to your currency please pay for linux to get support)

[-] LuuTuyen@lemmy.world 3 points 2 months ago

I couldn't post it on Reddit because my Reddit account got deleted due to enshittification and i only focused on Lemmy. not Reddit!

If you post it on r/linuxmemes or r/linuxmasterrace on Reddit, there's no need to give a credit here
