I do think James Gunn does get this and honestly, it's not a bad fit for a director. It might be okay. Nothing will compare to the epic trilogy in my head. I've got a 20th century spanning full life story of superman that would probably be as long as the lord of the rings trilogy and cost 3 times as much, but dammit it would be fun and uplifting overall cause superman is supposed to be fun and uplifting.

As a teacher I’ve heard skibidi a lot. For many kids they just see it as a fun nonsense word (although in a sense it is, because skibidi is supposedly a common phrase used in scat singing: Hence Skibidi Toilet.)

I've been watching the Superman animated series from the '90s, and in the episode The Late Mr. Kent, the whole plot centers around Superman trying to save some innocent black guy on death row who was framed with murder by some cop.
Superman -- with the help of Lois Lane -- successfully proves it was the cop all along. At the end, the pig realizes Clark Kent was in fact Superman ... right before he is fucking executed via gas chamber.
That's the only moment of that show I remember.
