put all of your election posting here so it doesn't bother anyone else!

from @CoolerOpposide@hexbear.net:

For Agitprop purposes, I’m asking comrades to help aggregate any and all effortpost responses, critiques, or general thoughts that you have seen or written pertaining to yesterday’s U.S. election that you think have standalone value for discussion either online or IRL.

I made a post for that purpose here, and ideally it can be used not only for general discussion, but as a reference for well thought out responses in discussions about the election to save all of us some brainpower.

No shitposts please, as we’d like to highlight some comrades’ actual effort in constructing responses or analysis, but humor is 100% welcome to help make your point!

I’ve been watching election coverage since about 7pm. Five and a half hours now. Not a single mention of Palestine as a factor. Not one. Pretty easy to see why Americans are so unbelievably brainwashed when this slop is what passes for news coverage.

Harris congratulates Trump, discusses peaceful transfer of power

michael-laugh bwaaaaaaaaaaaahaaahahahahahahahahaha holy shit she's congratulating the fascist existential threat to democracy for a good game and will peacefully hand over the keys to the white house she doesn't believe a single thing in this entire universe absolutely nothing!

I genuinely don't know how the libs are surprised; they were the ones insisting to me that Biden was the only one who could defeat Trump?

Voting for Kamala just to spite Elon Musk is the most compelling pro-Kamala argument I've heard so far

Tbh I'm kinda happy with whoever loses. Liberals are skin-crawlingly disgusting, pretending they care about anything while endorsing genocide wholeheartedly. They deserve to utterly eat shit and face actual consequences for their gleeful slaughter.

On the other hand, chuds are so comically evil that it's hard to believe sometimes. They just genuinely believe that they are better than everyone and expect everyone to agree with them.

Ultimately, it comes down to who shits their pants hardest then they lose, and I honestly think the liberals would be funnier. Jan 6 was hilarious but will never happen again, Trump's energy has died down so much. But I really, really want to see liberal talking heads pissing and shitting on MSNBC about how the world has ended and democracy has died, only for Trump to be exactly the same as Biden. I want to see them say they're in the Resistance, which consists of posting epic dunks on Twitter and being racist.

No matter who wins, we all lose. But at least some of the losers will be very funny

I just want things to change. I can't do four more years like this. At least Trump was called out for being shit, I feel like I am going crazy these days talking about being "nuanced" on genocide. Everbody thinks they're so damn clever, yet all the do is repeat what the TV tells them.
When Trump suggested "buying" Greenland from Denmark he was laughed out of the room, had it happened under the current administration it would probably have happened.
Imagine if Covid had begun under Biden. I don't know if there'd been a lockdown. If there'd even been an acknowledgement of a pandemic going on. Maybe there would've, but seeing how the west is just whipped under the US under the dems, and seeing how the dems are just as psychotic as the republicans... I dunno. We'll probably get a bird flu pandemic in the next four years. I wish there was some other maniacal steward that could be handed the reins to mister bones wild ride.
There's a meatgrinder going on in Ukraine and if you even suggest we might have had something to with it... The climate is fucked and now I gotta argue that nothing is being done because of [whatever the TV said this week]. Remember all those toxic rail chemical accidents? Things have only gotten more shit in the last 4 years, but dare suggest it and you gotta look at a graph held up by some dork who you gotta walk thru all the steps of basic cognition, before they'll concede that maybe things aren't doing so good.
I'm tired.

All I can say is... lol, lmao even joker-troll

Personally, I would have just not run a rabidly zionist and condescending campaign based on denying anything is wrong while increasingly ceding and more ground to the right

If we accept the axioms of the genocide calculus, it turns out that: |{ Americans | Americans who want to vote for 99% i-am-adolf-hitler}| < |{ Americans | Americans who want to vote for 100% i-am-adolf-hitler}| due to the Axiom of Americans Being Hitlerites Who Need to Imagine That They are Good People or something, idk I spend all day in Metamath and now my brain is melted

Proof? QED

The exchange I had regarding this tweet that was posted as an Instagram post

White Woman: "Can we not put all white women into a box here? How about republican women."

Me: "Crackas doing their own spin on 'not all men' roflmao, really tells you a lot about em"

White Woman: "closed minded its okay"

Me: "You are literally doing 'notallmen' but for white women. Your comment is unequivocally that.

White Woman: "Boooooo 👎"

Me: "Looks like this cracker is salty!"

Then I got blocked.

The nice thing about this big loss is that they can't blame it on third parties.
They're still gonna, but they really can't.

Normally not much a chatter but need to vent. I don't even live in a swing state. I'm in as firm a blue state as you can get. Yet my family still feels the need to get mad at me for voting Claudia. As if there's some invisible number you have it hit and then the liberal fairy will give you good boi points.

At least voting PSL eases my conscience a little. If I voted Harris and she still loses I would not only contribute nothing to that result. But then I'd feel shit for voting for the genocide enabler.

It kinda sucks that despite it being extremely obvious why Kamala lost, Democrats will learn nothing from this and push even harder right. I can't see a world where they ever admit that they went wrong.

Hot take: the accelarationist will win. The accelarationist candidate is kamala. Things will keep getting worse, the Democrats won't get anything done, and this will take fascism into overdrive in the US.

Anyway if trump does end up winning it will be extremely funny.

Take the electoralism challenge:

No media or internet, and no active engagement in IRL discussions about politics, starting from next week, until you find out who the winner of the US elections is.

Those who make it to the end of the month without knowing get a gold star.

People kinda told them to stop the Genocide, that killing people is bad, that unhinged bombing is bad, that arming "israel" is wrong especially in the middle of a Genocide, that maybe allying with iraq-war era people is not okay. People kinda warned them, but they didn't hear.

And there you go...

The Democrats have nobody to blame but themselves. You cannot beat Trump by running as a centrist and campaigning with Liz Cheney. You give people nothing. You promise healthcare reform and student debt relief and then don't do shit.

There's a reason Trump's "drain the swamp" lies work so well. People know both parties are controlled by their corporate owners, and they're sick of it. Trumpism has it's roots in disaffected working class people, they've just been convinced minorities are to blame for the faults of capitalism.

When material conditions worsen, people are more likely to embrace fascism, especially when there's no alternative but the status quo. If they had let Bernie run in 2016, he would've beat Trump then. But no, the Dems love the status quo, they love their corporate owners, and most of all they love genocide. End the Demokkkrat party.

People are rightfully criticizing Kamala for running a dogshit campaign but not enough people are criticizing Skibidi Biden. What has he done as a president for the past 4 years to make living in America less miserable? Why would anybody vote for 4 more years of doing jack shit while the conditions are getting worse?

In the /r/politics thread:

I expected the chuds to come in here and gloat, you'd be doing the same thing if Harris had won. But the crying and pussyaching from all you libs is embarrassing. Politicians aren't going to save us. Go talk to your neighbors, get involved in your community. Buy a 3D printer and make untraceable ghost guns, distribute them to the unhoused. Start a garden. Organize. Do anything besides punching down and to the left.

I'm curious how much the libs (will) have down-voted this, but I don't care enough to hang onto or find the comment past the vote visibility cool-off period. Reddit is such shit.

538-type redditors gooning over this Ann Selzer poll showing Harris at +4 in Iowa because her predictions have been within like 1 points of the actual result for the past few cycles.

Obviously that kind of performance would be insane so I don't see it happening. But I wonder if it's a sign that her odds are better than those currently represented in the polls and prediction models
