A century ago these guys ruled the most powerful empire in human history. Look at how far they've fallen.

May this be the fate of the US

A seething ruling class dominated by financial capital and a silicon valley that has all but crumbled, dreaming of the days when they could drone strike who they wanted.

We're halfway there!

I find it pretty funny how people today think that US empire is forever. Anybody who knows even a modicum of history can see just how quickly empires fall.

Man, remember when the UK had some of the best trains in the world and public healthcare that was envied by the rest of the west?

Pre-Thatcher Britain is a distant and fading memory

'[Prosperity] can only be achieved by supporting the people whose status hinges on making the rest of society poorer'

Must admit, while I have sympathy for the decent people (who are many as always), it couldn't happen to a more deserving society and country at large. This coming from someone living in another Anglo-hellhole settler franchise of the cursed isles (well Engl-nd is the curse anyways, no offense Engl-sh). Eventually all the rot comes back home... (it's here where I live as well and while I'm no accelerationist I can't claim it's not deserved and wholly self-inflicted)
