Its going to be really funny when trumps takes over and musk and vivek keep calling the white chuds losers from their goverment doge jobs.

It may actually make an assasination attempt vs musk happen

edit: Incredible things are happening in the Chud civil war

He’s gonna get got by some absurd bazinga brain doohickey that is made too look like something from cyberpunk 2077

His car will blow up and they'll spend months looking for the bomber but it turns out the car just did that

[–] hexaflexagonbear@hexbear.net 23 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Does he actually drive a Tesla? Would be really funny if he can’t because Tesla’s executive life insurance policy doesn’t allow him to or anything.

[–] Dessa@hexbear.net 20 points 2 months ago (1 children)

He doesn't need insurance. He's got pay out of pocket money

[–] hexaflexagonbear@hexbear.net 23 points 2 months ago

He kinda doesn’t, all his money is loans backed by the value of stocks he owns. Idk the details of how financing works are that scale, but potentially a lot of Tesla’s day-to-day financing probably operates on low interest loans backed by the value of its own stocks, which could create a bad feedback loop if it drops by a certain percent. I imagine there’s gotta be an insurance system for execs of high cap companies so the company doesn’t vanish overnight due to insane fiscal setups like that.

the gristle gun made from bones and viscera from eXistenZ (1999) that fires teeth at high velocity

[–] Des@hexbear.net 25 points 2 months ago

self aiming smart bullets. orrrr.. with today's tech, maybe a gun that fires streams of tiny explosive drones

Musk would require The Jackal, or someone very talented, patient and cunning.

His security team now operates like a mini-Secret Service, and he is guarded more like a head of state than a business executive, security experts said. Mr. Musk, who was once flanked by two bodyguards, travels with as many as 20 security professionals who show up to research escape routes or to clear a room before he enters. They often carry guns and have a medical professional in tow for Mr. Musk, who has been code-named “Voyager” by his security team.

[–] Belly_Beanis@hexbear.net 31 points 2 months ago

The purpose of a code name is to talk about something without others knowing what it is you're talking about. Deeply unserious security team. Code names should basically be changed to something random on a daily basis or at least for each operation.

[–] FALGSConaut@hexbear.net 28 points 2 months ago

Mr. Musk, who has been code-named “Voyager” by ~~his security team~~ himself

Although I'm surprised musk wouldn't choose a much more cringe codename

[–] ElChapoDeChapo@hexbear.net 21 points 2 months ago

They often carry guns and have a medical professional in tow for Mr. Musk

Literally exactly like that One Piece villain from that early arc where the met Chopper

Chud civil war

It should have a nickname. "Chuddar" gets my vote.

It may actually make an assasination attempt vs musk happen.

I wonder if Musk's kids start appearing with him 100% of the time in public.

This whole episode highlights the current contradiction between capital and reactionary white folks (largely but not exclusively evangelicals, suburbanites, rural whites, etc). For 400 years now, the grand bargain capital made with whites folks is: we will let you feel superior and even give you material benefits above what other groups will be granted; largely splitting this up by race. In exchange, you give us your loyalty. And for centuries, this was a pretty stable arrangement, largely resolved by stealing more indigenous land and handing it off to these white folks. And once there was no more land to steal, in the first half of the 20th century at least capital was able to deliver some benefits to white folks to keep the bargain intact, mostly through a postwar economic surplus that white folks got to benefit disproportionately from, primarily through subsidized housing in the suburbs away from the people that the white folks were legally allowed to physically distance themselves from.

But since the dawn of the neoliberal period, capital has really started to backpedal on this arrangement. Because as the US has diversified and as the rate of profit has become harder to maintain, this arrangement became too expensive for capital to maintain. And this is why you see so much impotent white chud anger over this. For centuries, they’ve been the good little boys and girls and have been getting special treatment from capital. Now that capital wants to go back on the deal, they are getting big mad. But since they have no way to understand how it’s capitalism that’s caused this, their anger just gets fired off in every direction other than where it should actually be directed.

[–] huf@hexbear.net 26 points 2 months ago

capital already tried to fuck this arrangement in the gilded age, but the specter of communism scared the shit out of them and they allowed FDR to save capitalism.

doesnt look like they wanna let some FDR2 save it again.

the chuds are gonna usher in an age of national socialism

[–] bruhbeans@lemmy.ml 60 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Last time around, Trump inherited a pretty stable economy, fueled in part by crazy low interest rates. Right now, we're on the cusp of the ai bubble busting, interest rates are relatively high, there were an assload of layoffs over the last couple years, and homie wants to deport a ton of people and tariff all the things. Any one of those items in isolation could make the economy puke, I'm curious what happens when 2, 3, 4 of them are hitting at once. How long does his coalition of shitbirds hold up, what happens when he's alienated enough of them with his constant pump-and-dump plays.

Not to mention Germany being in a similar financial situation as that of pre-ww2

I’m trying to lathe that Biden has a moment of clarity and makes an offhand comment about this

interviewer

President Biden, will you comment on the split on the right on H1-B visas?!

biden-the-thing

Look, it’s silly season ahead of inauguration, and I don’t want to read too much into it on my way out of here. Elon’s talking about visas, jobs, ship-shipping in talent - great stuff, sure - but not exactly what the MAGA folks had in mind, huh?

And poor Donald, he’s sitting there like it’s his show, but Elon’s already taken the mic, the spotlight, hell, even the snacks from the green room. It’s like - what do they call it? getting cucked? Yeah, that’s the word I have been told. Anyway, good luck sorting that out. I’m gonna go walk the dog. Take care, folks.

Elon and Vivek have been talking about how they want to keep H1B visas going to hire talented engineers from abroad. This has caused something of a nuclear chain reaction in the Hitler particle field, and there's more or less a hydrogen bomb of crackers colliding into each other, pushing themselves into higher and higher racism levels. I don't think it's coming down anytime soon.

Musk has access to influence Trump and he's been talking about how white Americans are lazy and he wants immigrants to come in and do jobs for cheap, which has the hogs infighting between the apartheid-supporting Musk worshippers and the white supremacists who want all jobs to go to whites only

You can tell he did this at short notice because he had to sacrifice his signature detailed art style
