"It wasn't real capitalism", lol

[–] Palacegalleryratio@hexbear.net 22 points 3 days ago

The problem is that real capitalism has never been tried.

You gave me an in-depth analysis of why capitalism will devour me, but have you considered the reddit-logo mainstream liberal propaganda from the last 70 years? libbing-out maybe-later-kiddo atlantic-council

No matter how many times it's proven wrong, they keep believing it.

[–] WizardOfLoneliness@hexbear.net 39 points 3 days ago

far more absolute

Huh weird how the anti communist considers communism more absolute than fascism, strange, curious even

Good god there's so much wrong in that reply. But the fact that I can very easily refute every single point that idiot is making means that I've definitely become quite well read theory wise, so that's fun. Good way to measure up how you're doing, like an end of term test.

There's a really easy way to refute liberals that requires little to no theory:

[–] BeamBrain@hexbear.net 18 points 3 days ago

There was an English teacher who used The Eye Of Argon in a similar way.

[–] MolotovHalfEmpty@hexbear.net 15 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago)

Pretty much every word of that reply is wrong, relies on the exact sort of redefining of terms they accuse others (incorrectly) of, and like all these smug replies relies on entirely ignoring actual material conditions, actions, and reality in order to exclusively focus on gnostic and abstract ideas of intent or 'feels'.

But the bit that really underlines how completely, proudly ignorant these kind of replies are, is this:

The idea that capitalism murdered the jews ... Capitalism didn't gas people in Auschwitz.

IG Faben was one of the first giant industrial companies to purge jews and others from its staff. It used concentration camp slave labour to the tune of at least tens of thousands of victims, including from Auschwitz. It produced Zyklon B, the poison gas that was literally used to "gas people in Auschwitz". It was so directly responsible for the Holocaust that dozens of IG Faben executives were put on trial at Nuremberg, with many convicted directly of war crimes for their active role in the Holocaust.

The only reason you haven't heard of IG Faben executives being shot or dying in prison is because the West (primarily the US) gave them all variations of 'time served' after 5 years because the Western capitalist class wanted to restart IG Faben under new names and cash in on all that Holocaust tech and value created by slave labour. Which is exactly what they did, inlcuding German/US Bayer and British BASF.

I mean, jesus fucking christ liberals, read a fucking book, learn some secondary school level history, please, I'm begging you, for fucks sake!

This is partly why AI is being pushed so hard btw. The capitalists defend it but they are not unaware of this problem.

Capitalism has not met a crisis like that of ww2 since it occurred because there have been multiple revolutions of production since it that have staved off a crisis of growth.

They call the AI revolution 4IR, fourth industrial revolution, for this reason. They throw all of their hopes upon it to stave off the next crisis of growth.

How dare you make better life choices than me

[–] crazyminner@lemmy.ml 31 points 3 days ago

Doesn't even know the origins of the word fascism. It was almost called corporatism.

[–] HelluvaBottomCarter@hexbear.net 24 points 3 days ago

Um actually, first of all. To begin with. A lot to unpack here. Number one. Let's start from the top.

[–] hogslayer@hexbear.net 25 points 3 days ago

I hate libs

[–] conditional_soup@lemm.ee 10 points 2 days ago

Capitalism doesn't inevitably evolve into fascism, everyone knows that fascism springs into existence out of nothing, fully formed.
