lemmy.ml, hexbear, and lemmygrad users verbally fellate contemporary and historical autocratic mass-murderers they deem to be “leftists”, most recently being Vladimir Putin, Xi Jingping, and Kim Jong Un.

They are, in reality, bitch-made invertebrates who don’t even have the arm-strength to lift their Molotov-sippy-cups out of their premium-outdoor-brand backpacks, let alone form meaningful opinions on economics, political philosophy, or geopolitical reality.

what weight of cup do I have to be able to lift before I qualify for geopolitical opinions

its the name of an actor so maybe just a coincidence

[–] Babs@hexbear.net 22 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

It's Dale Gribble's fake name (rather, name from a childhood classmate that he thought died but actually just moved away). Profile pic matches.

King of the Hill was so good.

I've been rewatching it recently and it holds up. I would have thought it would feel very of it's time, but it somehow isn't.

They do a few episodes of annoying strawmen that are stand-ins for 90s conservative griping targets (nosey social worker from LA, the elitist archeology professor, the "conflict mediator" from the district who ruined the carnival), but are mostly good

Mike Judge definitely isn't 100%, he has his misses, but when he is on-target he is great.

Read a bit through the comments, there's a few fun ones but mostly just scratched libs. But one poster was making some long case about .ML being bad admins/mods. They said to check the modlogs, so I decided to look them up and they got banned by a LW comm for trolling lmao

The only thing more pathetic than the piss-weak ravings of this idle misogynist are all the comments from all those other lost redditors about how he got our asses.

I am kinda in awe of how every one of these shut-in internet tough guys think talking like a shit grade action movie protagonist is the coolest thing ever. It's hilarious when someone tries to deliver a line like that to you in person (I'm smol and have this constant nervous energy to me that makes me prime target for screeching gammons trying to yell protests away so I've seen a fair bit of this sorta thing). But, like, if they're sitting at their computer typing this drivel up you'd assume they'd have the self-consciousness to look it back over and realise how fragile in their masculinity it makes them look.

I have a $20 Walmart backpack that has been reliable for years

This is how a person who isn't mad at all speaks. You can tell that they're very cool and calm.

Op, can you edit the body to include their masterful use of

headlines?

I feel some of the beauty is lost without it

Hey, side question: is Lemmygrad different from lemmy.ml?

[–] Erika3sis@hexbear.net 23 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Yes, lemmygrad.ml is a different site from lemmy.ml.

[–] HarryLime@hexbear.net 16 points 2 weeks ago

ok I didn't know that.

[–] Babs@hexbear.net 19 points 2 weeks ago

Lemmygrad is like us but more serious communism talk, Lemmy is like us but we're trying to act like reddit normies.

[–] EstraDoll@hexbear.net 18 points 2 weeks ago

idk, maybe this guy is just doing some Dale Gribble RP. This seems in character for him
