i still cannot understand how this many so called “leftists” were/are so eager to whitewash a dude that proudly mentions going on 3 tours to iraq AND being a blackwater pmc??? like what do you even believe in at this point, this is such an easy grifter to clock

what not reading theory does to a mf

Idk if this is a hot take or not but leftists expecting the military to develop class consciousness and fight the revolution for them feels an awful lot like liberals constantly waiting for a lifelong member of one of the three letter agencies to throw the book at Trump.

Noone is coming to save us, including a lot of the people who constantly reassure us they have our back. The only way progress will be accomplished is if we specifically work for it. And as somebody who's neighbors would gladly crucify me if they knew my political beliefs it frustratingly feels increasingly like the only work to be done is trying to make sure the people I love have enough material support to weather the descent.

Big desire for dem socs to have a veteran to point to and say "look the troops love us".

There's also an archetype of the "disillusioned veteran" looming around American Leftist circles because it's good to have guys with guns around your party and everyone loves a turnaround story.

[–] WildWeezing420@hexbear.net 21 points 2 months ago

disillusioned vets are more likely to do a mass shooting than join a leftist organization without intention to grift

New: Bernie Sanders defends Graham Platner, calls him an “excellent candidate”

“There's a young man who served his country in Afghanistan and Iraq, and he went through some really difficult experiences seeing friends of his killed or whatever, and in spite of all of that he had the courage to run”

“I personally think he is an excellent candidate. I'm going to support him, and I look forward to him becoming the next senator in the state of Maine”

New?

Those comments must be from a few days ago. Bernie can't be that insane. Can he?

Edit

Bernie makes me sick.

I think this is the quote that made me think he really is a social fascist. Like all the Zionist shit is abhorrent but not particularly surprising for an American politician. This one is just "yeah this Nazi is chill"

[–] SexUnderSocialism@hexbear.net 34 points 2 months ago

Color me shocked that one social fascist supports another. shocked-pikachu

Wait 4 tours before going into Blackwater.

I was there 4 different times but I had no idea they were that bad or wasteful until I got my paycheck from them

[–] ConcreteHalloween@hexbear.net 21 points 2 months ago (7 children)

I'm honestly left a little confused as to why this guy was in the DSA. This is the first time I've heard of him, and I'm like, is he a Fed? Was he trying to do right entryism? Did he have a genuine change of heart but neglected to cover up his fucking Nazi tattoo?

[–] GenderIsOpSec@hexbear.net 22 points 2 months ago

he was built in a lab to mess with lefties

I can't find that 2024 election picture of a craKKKerified jokermala with a black sun symbol, otherwise I would've posted that here.

ukrainification in full swing

[–] Ram_The_Manparts@hexbear.net 38 points 2 months ago

Someone on r/TrueAnon recently coined the term "Hyperbrandonization" and it's a real winner imo

[–] Collatz_problem@hexbear.net 30 points 2 months ago (1 children)

It was more of an Americanization of Ukraine, really.

[–] WildWeezing420@hexbear.net 20 points 2 months ago (3 children)

Nah, the open unrepentant Nazism is an import from Ukraine

[–] Collatz_problem@hexbear.net 40 points 2 months ago (4 children)

USA and Canada systematically nurtured fascists in Ukraine, orchestrated a coup to put them into power and run pro-fascist propaganda campaigns. American Nazism is homegrown and exported to other countries.

[–] WildWeezing420@hexbear.net 23 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) (1 children)

Yes, and this is the boomerang coming back around. We made Ukraine open Nazis, now Ukraine is making us open Nazis as blowback. America has never been openly Nazi in the way that Ukraine currently is, it's always done with a Liberal veneer or behind the scenes. That's changing.

[–] Collatz_problem@hexbear.net 22 points 2 months ago (4 children)

Really, it is closet Nazis in America made Ukraine open Nazis and ran pro-Nazi propaganda, so they can come out as open Nazis. It hardly counts as blowback, when every step was being done by Americans.

It's kind of impressive that the "leftist" has an even more explicitly Nazi tattoo than Hegseth.

The fact that he was not shot in the head with a nuclear bomb from Disney proves it is nazi skull and bones rather than piracy skull and bones
