That is really useful for finding out whether either of you is on the spectrum

This is derivative af

That's not a fourier transform, that's just a scope with a sine wave.

It's not even a mixed signal.

It's a Fourier transform of 1

[–] Aceticon@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 3 months ago (2 children)

Wouldn't that just be a single vertical line?

[–] Natanael@infosec.pub 3 points 3 months ago (1 children)

He didn't say 1 of which unit or function

[–] Aceticon@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 3 months ago

Hence why I formated my comment as a question ;)

It's one of the sine waves making up the mixed signal and he's got its frequency and amplitude, which is what fourier analysis is about.

Maybe he's just reading the result. The pic didn't show the open skull and the brain electrodes underneath.

The s/n ratio of these jokes is surprisingly high.

[–] aeronmelon@lemmy.world 13 points 3 months ago (1 children)

And now the signals have completely stopped. Science for the win!

The friend she said you shouldn't worry about gave her a band pass

[–] j4k3@lemmy.world 11 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Have you made it to third order base or is she a bad impedance? Don't get too hung up on her reluctance or reactance. If she takes no coulombs she is dead inside.

[–] lauha@lemmy.world 3 points 3 months ago

Interesting, I didn't know the word reluctance even though magnetic resistance is a familiar concept

[–] pHr34kY@lemmy.world 9 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Both the FFT and this story are anchored on things that are imaginary.

[–] Natanael@infosec.pub 7 points 3 months ago

You're making it complex

[–] expatriado@lemmy.world 9 points 3 months ago

DSP gave me PTSD

[–] abcdqfr@lemmy.world 3 points 3 months ago

Fourier than what?

[–] sheepishly@fedia.io 1 points 3 months ago

Fourier?? I hardly know 'er!!
