This is beyond normal straight. This is like, Mormon straight. That type of name can be found all over Idaho.
That was my thought - this is white Mormon über-straight.
If you're just expressing your strong need to disaffiliate with whatever is happening in that picture, you're fine. But yeah, the community is about those cases where people forcing themselves into monogamous, life-long relationships goes wrong.
And unfortunately, this is so common, that you can buy """humorous""" products like in the post, and that the community name just summarizes it as "the straights"...
