Mildly Interesting

This is for strictly mildly interesting material. If it's too interesting, it doesn't belong. If it's not interesting, it doesn't belong.

This is obviously an objective criteria, so the mods are always right. Or maybe mildly right? Ahh.. what do we know?

Just post some stuff and don't spam.

This is based in a town called Exmouth in Western Australia. I believe the town was originally created due to the need to service US personnel and their families who were based out there in the 1960's

This is a joke about your title missing "who"

Actually, it's in a Brooklyn prison.

Looks more like a summoning circle to me.

Or a massive transmutation circle...

The PM disappeared whilst swimming (and there was a conspiracy theory that he had been a spy from China and was picked up by a submarine before the net closed in). If the communication station also mysteriously disappeared, that would be quite a coincidence.

The US did name a warship after Holt, though. It served for a few decades, then was decommissioned and sunk as a target in exercises.

Us Aussies where far kinder to him we named a swimming pool after him

This place is so remote, the average bloke from WA doesn't even know it exists.

Am I the only one seeing a ~~pentagram~~ hexagram? They are obviously all in hell now, where they deserve to be.

[–] hypnicjerk@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago (1 children)

The pool is funnier.

Yeah, that’s not very typical. I’d like to make that point.
