The original narrative was that she was a protestor / legal observer. i.e. that she was actively engaged with the ICE activity in some capacity and that she had placed herself in harms way in the course of doing so.

This new information reveals that she was just a normal person going about her normal business before being randomly murdered by ICE.

Neither version says its OK to just murder someone, but the information that she was just a person in the wrong place takes even more out of the narrative that she somehow initiated the encounter at all.

She wasn't what they said she was. She was just a mom dropping her kid off at school. Still confused?

Quick reminder to anyone reading, since the other reply here implied implications about what is to be done: whatever your opinions on violence may be you should never, under any circumstances, suggest that yourself or others should or will commit violent or illegal acts in your own country or countries that your country has extradition treaties with.

In any other countries, there are warning shots fired first, then they shoot at the wheels, then they try to detain the car by using own cars. There is no way the right thing to do is to murder someone in the head as a first response.

If she was trying to hit him when he fired and he was in her line of travel, he would have been split in half as she smacked into whatever's in front of her. If he feared for his life he would have rolled out of the way and engaged in pursuit after. That's really disheartening to hear. We need to keep hammering home that this is not normal to all our friends And family. People are understandably scared, and not everyone is as plugged in to reality. Sometimes they accept the narrative out of fear, they want to believe that if they behave and follow the rules they won't be shot in the face as well.

The good news is that you can only ignore reality for so long before it comes stomping down your door. The bad news is at that point it might be too late for any of us.

The video is clear. She starts to pull out, realizes there's oncoming traffic, then waves at them to pass, then two masked men exit the unmarked pickup truck brandishing weapons and one tries to reach into her car to open the door. So she took off like anyone in their right mind would when two randos with guns try to pull you out of your car.
