It's the money that will stop this. Once the big customers who sank millions or billions into this admit to themselves and finally everyone else, that they aren't profiting from the investment, they'll stop sending good money after bad. Or, they'll go bankrupt, with the same effect.
I think it will be much smaller inside of five years. We're not seeing the advancements promised, AGI is a monorail.
