Huh, so AI is "good" because it can create things no human artist would ever willingly create.

And that doesn't make this person think, like, at all?

Centrists also support immigration because brown people are genetically better at yucky jobs like cleaning bathrooms. In their world view, AI is simply doing the job no one else wants to do, freeing society* from the requirement to labor.

* white ppl

If I had an AI that could clean my house so I can spend more time creating art, that would be great. Instead we have AI that saves people the "trouble" of creating artwork so we have more time for menial labour and drudgery.

[–] Le_Wokisme@hexbear.net 7 points 1 month ago

i can help you out with that as long as the art is waterproof

[–] BanMeFromPosting@hexbear.net 3 points 1 month ago

Well that and taco trucks. I cringe whenever someone goes "we should let in Mexicans because of tacos". Capitalist mindset.

In the USA? I.C.E. In the rest of the world? Religion

[–] invalidusernamelol@hexbear.net 26 points 1 month ago

I think they wouldn't make it because it's dumb as fuck and only makes sense to people with literal mud for brains.

[–] BanMeFromPosting@hexbear.net 2 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

jesse-wtf you think religion is what's keeping people from making murals of a person, who was murdered by modern Gestapo, embracing someone who was killed for participating in a coup attempt?

[–] FunkyStuff@hexbear.net 39 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Banksy would paint this on the apartheid wall in the West Bank.

[–] BanMeFromPosting@hexbear.net 2 points 1 month ago

As much shit as bansky gets I appreciate them because they've made my parents love graffiti

This could actually be useful. There might be a fence sitter liberal who is leaning toward socialism in your life. Show them this and explain how to a centrist this image and the idea behind it are completely rational.

Kinda like that time some libertarian guy said something like “we all agree selling kids is bad” and got booed by a crowd of other libertarians. One of those “mask off” moments.

That brings the following to mind.

Libertarian Presidential Debate - Should Driving a Vehicle Require a Government License?

Notable highlights

  • John McAfee ~0:40
  • "Toaster" guy ~0:59
  • Gary Johnson ~1:30. He got booed.

I miss John McAfee. Not late stage when normies knew of him and he started playing to the crowd, but his early work. That YouTube video for example.

[–] InevitableSwing@hexbear.net 2 points 1 month ago (1 children)

but his early work.

Heh. I had a very similar thought but I didn't quite think of it that way and it's spot on. He is like an actor that way.

What percentage of the US population considers these two deaths equivalent? There can't be very many. This seems like someone trolling everybody.
