What is the picture?
Oh fuck, I knew there was something wrong with that smile (apart from being from a yanki soldier). The first time I saw torture was from the pictures of abuse at Abu Ghraib, they showed them on TV and as a kid I got so nauseous I didn't eat dinner that night.
McCHESNEY: She also was found not guilty of engineering one of Abu Ghraib's most shocking acts, wiring a hooded prisoner standing on a box and telling him if he fell off, he would be electrocuted.
Man they didn't even try to hide their enjoyment of those horrors. Fuck the Yankee pigs.

I was wrong
What the fuck, Charles Graner, one of the "famous" torturers from abu ghraib, married or had children with two different female torturers
Reading that thread is infuriating, I saw the word "scapegoat" at least 5 times. NO, SHE WAS NO "SCAPEGOAT". A scapegoat is someone innocent who pays for other people's crimes. Just because other members in her criminal organization got less or no criminal sentences doesn't make her a scapegoat, she did horrendous shit.
Those people don't even know the meaning of the words they use.
Reading r/pics comments is digital self harm
She didn't even get that much of a punishment, either. IIRC the longest any of the Abu Ghraib guards seen torturing people was like 4 years and they were let out on "good behavior."
Yeah made the same mistake. Someone is even invoking the milgram experiment and in typical lib fashion has ignored the memo that it was flawed.
This is just following orders with extra steps.
(most charitable possible interpretation) the term they were looking for was "limited hangout"
lmao did they figure it out yet? This bit needs to become famous
They did. https://old.reddit.com/r/pics/comments/1qjv8mn/oc_my_sister_who_did_nothing_for_the_us_in_iraq/

2.5k likes now lol
I've missed something over the last few days. What's this done nothing for the us in Iraq thing about?
trump said something about "nato does nothing for the us," and the war criminals of nato took offense and started posting pictures of their time "doing nothing for the us"
Ah, of course
That “hug” she’s giving.
Daily reminder there were also women and children being tortured at Abu Ghraib. They only released the pictures taken of the adult men who were tortured because they didn't want there to be mass riots.
I love the 'military aged male' doctrine where I can be executed and tortured by fascists and it isn't bad unless i'm below the age of 18. Even bleeding heart libs will write me off as deserving it
There was a book recommended here earlier, Perfect Victims and the Politics of Appeal by Mohammed El-Kurd where this is often how Palestine is framed - Gaza is only women and children. Westerners only use the "perfect victims" to make their case because they're too feckless to actually stand on principle that murdering anybody and stealing their land is wrong. Even if Palestine was 100% adult male Hamas militants it's still not acceptable for a foreign power to come in and kill them and take their land.

You were in Iraq (derogatory)?!
