Many years ago, during the cold war, a travel agency in the US used the slogan "Visit Europe as long as it still exists". Looks like the tables have turned.

My nephew, when he was about 12, was hustling on trying to start a business. I was trying to explain market forces, demand, etc, but struggling. Finally I asked him, why are you trying to do this now? Why not wait until HS or college?

"I want to be flush by then so I can go see the wildlife before it's all gone."

I dont know if youre familiar with a Canadian artist named Matthew Good, but he wrote a book and talked about watching the end of the world from a lawn chair with a case of beer and the Bud girls. Think the humour was lost on many.

A week or two ago I saw (eu) a quick sale freezer packed to the brim with Dr Oetker American style pizzas (The Boxes have Stars and Stripes all over em of course).
