Sell JD vance?

hell. I'd give him away for free if I thought anyone would take him off our hands. Pretty sure he's one of the few things you can put on the curb with a sign saying "$50" and not have it walk away.

[–] Catoblepas@piefed.blahaj.zone 27 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

I’ll pay you $50 to take him away, and that’s my final offer!

Wait, come back, how about $100? $200?

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 1 points 2 weeks ago

Now I have an image in my head of a moribund parrot fucking a sofa.

[–] starik@lemmy.zip 8 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

I don’t understand the rationale here. Even if you’d give him away for free, why not try to get something for him if you can? Put JD on sale for $200, then lower the price by $25 a day until someone buys. You don’t even have to waste money feeding him. If there are no takers, he’ll die in a few days, and you can just throw him in a dumpster and you’re back to where you started.

[–] FuglyDuck@lemmy.world 2 points 2 weeks ago

First that’s generally more work.

Secondly, if someone buys him and they catch something because he fucked their couch… now you’re liable for that.

But.

If they stole him…. Not only are you not liable for anything; you also don’t have to pay for disposal when nobody thinks buying him is worth it.

[–] Gnugit@aussie.zone 6 points 2 weeks ago (2 children)

Wait, will he be tied up and gagged?

[–] FuglyDuck@lemmy.world 7 points 2 weeks ago

gotta keep him from fucking the couch somehow...

[–] alaphic@lemmy.world 1 points 2 weeks ago

If I had any say in it, this would be his default state and the penalties for altering it would be considerable

[–] Tolookah@discuss.tchncs.de 4 points 2 weeks ago

I would offer drugs if you'll take jd with you

[–] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 2 points 2 weeks ago

he's one of the students that when he tries to elope, you let him

[–] Archangel1313@lemmy.ca 23 points 2 weeks ago

Lol! As if any self-respecting drug dealer would take JD Vance as payment. They may as well just be giving you free drugs.

[–] Etterra@discuss.online 16 points 2 weeks ago (2 children)

If you auctioned him off as a pinata he'd definitely net you more than $50.

[–] agingelderly@lemmy.world 7 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

$50 a swing. But people would be swinging so hard it might not last long.. better up it to $1000

[–] Etterra@discuss.online 5 points 2 weeks ago

To be donated to a reputable charity that doesn't say thank you.

[–] Whostosay@sh.itjust.works 2 points 2 weeks ago

This guy marketings

[–] LibertyLizard@slrpnk.net 14 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago)

[T]o be a bit serious one irony of Vance’s life is that he is also an addict: addicted to power and clearly willing to sell anything to get it," Bouie added.

Great video on the topic of power as an addiction for any interested: https://youtu.be/7ebhXFuPkR4

Our precious baby boy is even featured as the epitome of this issue.

[–] tanisnikana@lemmy.world 9 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

You know GWAR would buy JD Vance for fifty bucks.

[–] RaoulDuke25@lemmy.dbzer0.com 13 points 2 weeks ago

They would make a skin couch out of him and fuck it.

[–] deacon@lemmy.world 8 points 2 weeks ago

Of course it is Jamelle Bouie bringing the thunder. I should have known.

[–] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 7 points 2 weeks ago

This is true. In fact, we just had a student in my wife's classroom. We sold that child for drugs this afternoon. He was pretty stringy and had an iep so I was only able to get bottom shelf shit for him. Still got more than I would have for JD Vance tho. I couldn't even get a pack of pre-eaten skittles for that wimp

[–] skooma_king@piefed.social 5 points 2 weeks ago

Can we not just post the link to the actual article? This is like hearsay gossip bullshit. The original article is salacious enough. Stop supporting this fluff

[–] MOARbid1@piefed.social 5 points 2 weeks ago

More likely he’d be turned into orphan meat. Nobody’s paying for that creature.

[–] 6stringringer@lemmy.zip 4 points 2 weeks ago (2 children)

I thought JD’s mom drowned all the dumb ones.

[–] 6stringringer@lemmy.zip 3 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago)

Prolly should’ve swallowed. But somehow even if she did choose wisely via oral sex in lieu of whatever fucked up position she was in & continued on to birth such a wretched soul. Even if that high protein tonsil washing occurred, that demon semen would have ended up exiting that woman somehow. I don’t want to start any conspiracies or anything but just saying this. How easy is it to be booed off a Universal stage? I dunno? Ask jd.

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 1 points 2 weeks ago

Clearly not quite all.

[–] BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.today 3 points 2 weeks ago

Is that an option? I'm a parent, can I sell JD Vance for drugs? No fentanyl, or anything dangerous, just some weed. Maybe mushrooms, if you got some.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 3 points 2 weeks ago

Well, but James Bowman is so young!

I've been lead to believe (probably by a psyop campaign) that we should go all Logan's Run on our politicians, and that the young'uns have it all figured out, because well, reasons. America has always had a rather vapid culture that centers youth in other endeavors (fashion, music, movies, sports) and we should just map that onto everything else as well, I guess?

James Bowman is 41 years old. In political terms, that's practically a baby.

[–] stylusmobilus@aussie.zone 2 points 2 weeks ago

Even MAGA hates this chode

[–] brognak@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 2 weeks ago

Bouie has a YouTube channel where he puts out some dope short (10minish) videos discussing whatever he has on his mind.

[–] ugandan_airways@lemmy.zip 2 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

I think the parent would owe someone money if they gave them JD Vance
