LGBTQ+ rights are under attack across the world.
This a Community dedicated to the discussion of how to protect, advocate for, and restore LGBTQ rights!
With the rampant increase of Anti LGBTQ+ hate crimes, speech and laws internationally, the LGBTQ community globally no longer feels safe.
We refuse to stand by while injustice against our community reigns.

- Respect the trans community
Respect the people who belong here. If you're confused what that means, here's a minor primer:
No asking to date trans people or otherwise meet up with them. No treating being transgender as a mental illness or as being lesser in any way. No arguing with trans people about their identity. No arguing with trans people about their vulnerabilities, including anything related to sports, laws, etc. This includes anything else that the mod team deems disrespectful.
- Stay on topic!
Posts should be related to the defense, advocacy, and restoration of LGBTQ+ rights.
This Community is for news regarding, as well as the discussion of, anti LGBTQ+ laws, hate crimes, and propaganda.
- Bunnies are above the law

Threat of injury. Because swimming is a famously and aggressively contact sport.
I mean it definitely isn't, but plenty of us managed to injure ourselves anyway. Thankfully the worst I did was mis-time a flip-turn and whacked my ankles in the gutter. Shit hurts. Several of my teammates tore stuff in their shoulders.
Still complete BS. At her age, competition is not what it once was. I seriously doubt you'll see sub 50 second 50 meter freestyle/ butterfly in that age bracket. Hell, I doubt there are many 45 year olds (my age) who can do sub 50 seconds.

Trans men have already been assaulted and arrested for complying with those laws. The purpose was always to drive trans people out of public life.
And their assailants were arrested and found liable for damages, right? Right?
Which shithole legalized workplace discrimination against trans people? Florida?
Pretty soon, bigots will be a protected class, while lgbt will not be.
The point is to simply make public spaces as inaccessible as possible for trans people in the hopes they stop existing outside of the closet. It's never about a consistent worldview.

No, they never do. They don't actually care about logic, they just want an out-group to discriminate, and all of their arguments are in bad faith.
