But if your criticism was not based in understanding the material interest of American empire you will fall pray to the simple right wing narrative that makes you feel like "America" is not the problem. That capitalism is not the problem. When the reality is; that they are.
You are "an American"; you live here. Stop trying to justify what "America" does as a defense of your identity. That "America" can be good if we just purge these lobbying groups. No, "America" is those lobbying groups. "America" is the interest of capital. You have no more of a control of "America's" foreign interventions than you do Israels. And they are one in the same.
