Idk when society started depending on twitch game streamers for political insight but it's really been fucking with my head. Sorry bro, WoW raid experience doesn't exactly translate to expert on international relations.

It's a lot easier to amplify shitty opinions through stealthily promoting shut-ins that "organically" spread the right poison than to try and turn a journalist or a legitimate artist into a mouth piece. Peter Theil probably loves boosting characters like this with bots.
There are actually a few twitch streamers that have political experience who stream about politics. They've run for office, or worked in D.C., so they have some interesting insights.
But that's not Asmongold by a longshot.
And they'll never reach the heights of asmond without the botfarms that amplify the signal to the algorithms.
No doubt, I wrote game streamer quite specifically - no background or education in politics, but have an audience carried from unrelated activities and influence it.

These streamers have no credentials to be a pundit, yet still flood the feeds with their opinions. Seems like a distinct difference.

You can "don't like this video" and then tell them you "don't like this channel" on any video that gets recommended.
Yeah that means nothing to youtube, I've done that every time that ass hat appears and without fail in a few weeks/months there will be another one.
"never recommend channel" will get rid of the twit permanently.
That also works only for some time. In my case, blocked channels were recommended to me after about a year or two. Had to block them again.
