I feel like a lot of those Democrat rules are self imposed from decades of catering to Republicans and maintaining "decorum." As well most are just repeating the same line: "Do good, as long as you make more money from it."
More accurately, they both started with the same book, the Republicans have just ripped out all of the pages over time and are left only with the empty cover.
Here is the situation:
Virginia's redistricting to to favor democrats failed. California is not enough. We needed VA to go through. The voting rights act is gone. The solid blue black districts in the South are being erased and gerrymandered out of existence. Those districts have been almost single handily been holding back the red tide back for half a century. Without those the dems will loose the house and the republicans will have control of congress for generations.
THIS WAS THE ELECTION CANCELLATION
If the Democrats don't do something drastic in the coming months then the Dem who is elected president in '28 better be Julias fucking Caesar incarnate or we are fucked. It's as simple as that.
Gerrymandering works by diluting (not erasing) the opposition to steal votes with your core. If inflation is at 20% and people can't afford to live then it doesn't matter how you slice it, you're not gonna do well.
Unfortunately Gerrymandering is only ONE way Republicans are going to skew the election.
