So apparently it was a firework gone astray. This exchange cracked me up:

I do not understand how “gamer” became an actual class for these people.

No war but class war (against gamers)

I had a chuckle at articles like this one : https://www.cnn.com/2026/07/04/health/fireworks-safety-america-250th-anniversary-wellness but I guess they are needed 😬

Throwing over the table like that feels like it would be beyond the power of some regular fireworks.

Not sure what the limits on regular consumer fireworks in the US is but this is probably beyond that.

Looking at modern American "cars", this kinda of makes sense.

It's a sign of great respect in their culture, or stress, or happines, or boredom

Sometimes they just do that too

Like cats but more ecocidal

Some fuckers set off something that rattled my windows pretty good this year

I'm gonna get a special task force going to find these guys and just start setting fireworks off around their houses

Delayed counterbattery fire lol

[–] Athena5898@hexbear.net 30 points 1 week ago

One year these shitty frat boys set off a brick in the road during the fall semester they had saved. It was right by our house. I was so fucking pisses. And one of the fucks was in my 6 am organic chemistry class. Like wtf why dude????

If you are going to be a menace with fireworks at least do something cool like aim them at cops

Do you know how fucking angry I'd be if this happened? Livid. But they're most likely a well off petite bougie that can afford to replace the stuff. For a poor person like me I'd never be able to recover.

smuglord Well, if he didn't want a bomb going off in his room he should have set up a 24-camera defense grid and started shooting wildly the moment the motion sensor went off. Some people just can't handle Freedom SMH...

Why the hell are you Redditors coming here to post Reddit links?!? Go back to Reddit if you can’t share fresh content.
