(deep breath)

DR. MANHATTAN WAS NOT A GOOD GUY! HE WAS A EXAMINATION OF HOW IF A PERSON WERE ELEVATED TO A GODLIKE STATUS THEY WOULD BE DISTANCED FROM HUMANITY AND COME TO SEE THEM AS WE SEE ANTS!

OK BUT HE WAS STILL MADE THE ULTIMATE ARBITER OF MORALITY AT THE END OF THE SERIES. THE COMICS POLITICS ARE ACTUALLY NOT VERY SKIBIDI, ALAN MOORE HAS WEIRD VIEWS.

Alan Moore is a land of contrasts

Like it's apt, but Jesus, you can feel the intent was genuinely on her side

Which to be fair, is how I imagine hillary-apartment views the working class, so it is actually a surprisingly decent fit?

🎵 GAYMAN, ahhh-AAHHHH-ahhhh, he's the fighter of the straightman 🎵

[–] Damarcusart@hexbear.net 8 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

A superhero who has the power to make people gay could be pretty funny, but I don't think that's what this guy had in mind, this feels more like "Notice me and praise me you (slurs), Give me the attention I crave and tell me what a good boy I am!"

Its definitely that. He's very Democrat brained (derogatory)

Is that fucking Peter Thiel, he is not nearly moist enough.

[–] LeeeroooyJeeenkiiins@hexbear.net 9 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

He literally would have won though, say what you will about him being a piece of shit but there's a reason Trump backed out of the debate they agreed on

[–] miz@hexbear.net 8 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago) (1 children)

he had the support of the electorate but the dems would have sabotaged him so hard in the general

plus he's a coward and a zionist so fuck him (you said I could say what I wanted)

[–] LeeeroooyJeeenkiiins@hexbear.net 10 points 2 weeks ago

Yeah all true but I still think at that moment he would have won. It was a close election with Hillary and Hillary is particularly reviled even for neoliberals. Like what it's saying about swing states here is just a fact lol he'd have crushed trump. This isn't an endorsement of Bernie but my opinion on the electorate at the time, i just really do not think he would have lost

This is supposed to be pro-Hillary? It just shows her pathetically running out on an interview because she can't answer a basic question about Bernie Sanders. It doesn't become cool just because she teleports out. Though I guess to a lib, it's all surface level capeshit, give Hillary Clinton super powers and she becomes super cool, even if she literally does nothing with those powers other than what she would normally do.

[–] ClathrateG@hexbear.net 1 points 2 weeks ago

At the end she teleports back to save the day

For your viewing (dis)pleasure
