In addition, 20 years ago, I could've never foreseen U.S. power being in peril already like it is now. Now countries like Nicaragua, Venezuela, Bolivia, Honduras, Russia, Belarus, China, etc. are fighting back.

Time will tell.

I agree.

Things will get better.

More people are waking up and more people are communinst now.

They will get better. We rocked the country back in 2020 and we can do so again with even more force (again and again and again) until we succeed while continuing to build up our numbers and connections (we need cohesion more than numbers, in this case).

We rocked the country in 2020? Not being glib, I'm just not sure what you're referring to.

It's like overturning a police cruiser. You gotta keep rocking in harmonic rhythm with a significant mass of organized people. And the final push can be pretty dangerous for the frontline rockers.

[–] Pluto@hexbear.net 6 points 2 years ago

Yeah, that's the "revolutionary situation" that could get dangerous, but the police cruiser can be overcome.

A communist revolution takes place in the US but its an operation backed by the US to consolidate power and to run more centrally like China.

How things will possibly become better: Chinese tech bros are forced by hardline Marxist Leninists to resurrect Lenin and have march to Berlin

It's war chest depleted falling into ingenious traps set by a unified global south, and its intensifying domestic labor struggles having ultimately selected for revolutionary communist-led unions, a spent, divided, and demoralized US will die with a whimper, it's paper-thin loyalties bought with treats and privileges having run dry as imperialism sputters out and perishes.

You're not wrong. I posted a scathing comment on LinkedIn about not giving Reddit so much as a click or view in 2023. A week later Spez announced the throttling of the API requests/paid API access.
