The people yearn for socialism, even if they don't realize it yet.
when i became a socialist, it was less of a fundamental change in ideology and more like realizing socialism was the name for what i already thought was good
exactly.. i used to think i was a liberal but it never fit right, so i used the term loosely. Then I found out about socialism and communism and realized communism was what matched my inner being the most, but in so many more ways than i expected
Democrats shocked that helping people out materially results in election wins. They promise to do better by providing even less material support to the poor and more empty platitudes.
the american people yearn for succdem policies. they absolutely do not give a shit about dismantling the global system of exploitation that allows them their treats. yankkkee scum will never support actual socialism in any large numbers
they mostly aren't aware it exists

They will support it, but only after the current economic system completely collapses.
