Meanwhile The Times of Isnotreal just let it slip that Hamas offered the release of all hostages on the 9th/10th of October in exchange of a permanent ceasefire, but the Isisraeli government kept refusing it for the past 7 months in order to satiate all the bloodthirsty Nazis with yellow ribbons.

I of course saved screenshots of such articles where Satan himself refuted all the claims of sexual abuse, "40 children" and mutilation levied against Hamas, in addition to a hostage deal just 2 days after the operation. Just in case I need a source on hand if some ravenous settler tries to stab me with a broken bottle on the bus.

Oh yeah and a bunch of Boers in Cape Town assaulted a Palestinian protester like a week ago.

Here's the one about the hostage deal:

The announcement complicates last-ditch efforts by international mediators, including the director of the CIA

They’re not sending their best, folks.

I feel like if you're the CIA director and some shitty client state is actively undermining your efforts to make them stop dragging the US down even further, if your efforts are genuine, you basically have to openly heart attack gun that guy and, perhaps, his closest ministers. As a treat. Literally not a single person with any standing would give a shit if someone just blasted the most senior shitbags. It would be like Abe where the media pretended for a day and then immediately forgot about him.

Apparently the car crash wasn't a clear enough message.

This too (assuming it was a real plot. Also "Arab Israelis" is always a jarringly racist thing to read in Israeli sources)

We need gopro footage of Ben-Givr's car speeding through a red light, swerving to avoid other vehicles, flipping like 30 feet into the air and being intercepted midair by an RPG. There is a universe where this happened

Evacuate to where?! Aquaman?!

[-] pmarcilus@discuss.tchncs.de 37 points 7 months ago

Dreadful news. Zionists once again trying to colonise Gaza despite international opposition, and they will once again burn down everything if things don't go well to them.

[-] Yor@hexbear.net 35 points 7 months ago

move to a nearby Israel-declared humanitarian zone

We've seen what the zionist entity does to so called humanitarian zones in the past

[-] Evilphd666@hexbear.net 22 points 7 months ago

hamas-base please evacuate to the designated murder zone,

Use of the word “temporarily” feels like an interesting choice by the Associated Press here, especially since it’s not backed up by anything in the article

The Associated Press is one of the most garbage news organizations I’ve ever fucking heard of and for some reason they’re treated as being the most neutral of all neutrality. They constantly use terrible wording, downplay issues, and repeat insane claims from the most Hitlery people imaginable with no questioning. Half the time they don’t even bother to put a journalist’s name on the fucking article (this one does, but they often don’t). And then other “reputable news outlets” repost their stories word for word with no further investigation.

That's kind of what the AP is for. Similar to Reuters. And there's another big one that I can't remember. They're only supposed to provide the core facts. Journalists are supposed to follow things up. But over time, journalists have started using these services as the whole story. This is how you get roughly the exact same headlines and stories in every paper.

Journalists are given less and less time, too. And investigative journalists' funding or whole department is cut. Half the shit that ends up on AP are government announcements, treated as neutral lol and journalists run with it as if someone at the AP has discovered something rather than being handed a press release.

It's a shit show but journalists know how the bills get paid.

It's commenced with just about everyone in the Crackerverse, without any exaggeration, cheerleading for the total extermination of a city the size of Soweto.

The Rafah Crossing has been seized and the area along the Egypt-Gaza border is being bombed. The strip is now officially cut off from the world in totality. Supplies can't go in and people can't escape.
