God. Warn a guy before he googles that shit, would you? 🤮

Fucking terrifying form of life, I remember seeing this on Animal Planet as a kid. The whole cycle is fascinating, thank god it doesn't fuck with the birds brains. Can you imagine a parasite trying to pilot an avian? Reiteration: fucking terrifying.

All the birds love him

The latest MTG set is all animal focused and it has a snail token (image) that's made by one of the creature cards. Not 100% sure if it's supposed to be host to a parasite or if the artist thought it just looks trippy.

After looking at the rest of that artists work, he knew what he was doing.

(I am not linking to his site because it is chock full of phobia triggers. But, damn! He is good.)

Zombies very much exist, they just haven't made the jump to humans... yet.

[–] RedditRefugee69@lemmy.world 7 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Yeah, but… sophisticated ape brain high jacking is a much more sophisticated game than than hacking a bug’s nerves. That’s like fearing a shark will “make the jump” to developing a jet engine and wings on its back so it can prey on land

[–] Maggoty@lemmy.world 6 points 1 year ago (1 children)

They already have lasers...

[–] RedditRefugee69@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago
